"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes." – Romans 1:16
Sam is currently a Junior majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media at the University of Tennessee. He has been writing since before he could make words. He wrote his first opus when he was 4 that was entitled EEHAAHHA. Sam enjoys sports as a hobby and supports the Tennessee Volunteers, Chicago Sports (Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls, and Bears) Tottenham Hotspur, San Jose Earthquakes, and Bayer Leverkusen.
A Tennessee native, Sam grew up going to Tennessee football games with his grandfather, and witnessed first hand the 1998 "Stumbled and Fumbled’ game against Arkansas as well as the National Championship game in the Fiesta Bowl.
He has a great interest in video production. He works with Tennessee Athletic Broadcasting producing, shooting, and editing a variety of videos on Tennessee Sports. He also spent five weeks in Ethiopia working on short films with a ministry in the country’s capitol.
Sam also loves to travel. He’s been all over the southeastern United States attending various football games (8 SEC Stadiums down, 6 to go), as well as Ethiopia. His goal is to someday have been to more countries than he hasn’t.
If you asked Sam what he sees himself doing in a few years, he’d say "I have no clue but God does, hope I get to hold a camera."
