Aaron curry demoted, might be on trade block
Another seahawk bites the dust.
Former No. 4 overall pick Aaron Curry has lost his starting weak-side linebacker job to rookie K.J. Wright.
Athletic and productive at Wake Forest, Curry was highly regarded in the scouting community entering the 2009 draft. He's failed to make impact plays in Seattle, though, managing just 5.5 sacks and one interception as a 30-game starter the past two seasons. He had been removed from nickel packages after a dropped interception and blown coverage last week. The Tacoma News Tribune suggests Curry could go on the trade block. With no guaranteed money left on his contract, Curry can be released in 2012. I guess this settles the debat stafford over curry per roto lol Mayhew has mayhewed seatle alot, wounder if mayhew will make a phone call.
Off Season Annoying Poll
I was thinking of how much some things to poll about and I thought of the annoying things that happened this off season. The J.E.T.S. hearing that all day gets old Sanchez is praised like a pro bowler and they compare him to Stafford and Ryan is praised as a great coach. Farve watch seams to never end. The Kevin smith debate is a debate that obama and the next republican candidate need to bring full stage cuz for some reason it keeps coming back and last but least turd Matt millen never seams to leave us lions fans the hell alone and is always on tv and talking and now wolverine games he is on. Damn lions fans endure pure pain lol. anyways have fun with the poll.

Broncos release ayodele
Per a league source, the Broncos have released Ayodele, an eight-year pro who previously played for the Jaguars, Cowboys, and Dolphins. He remains listed as a first-teamer on the Broncos' official depth chart. Presumably, Joe May or Wesley Woodyard will be promoted to the starting spot on the inside, next to D.J. Will a stream of tweets, Josina Anderson of FOX 31 in Denver shares Ayodele's response to the news. "They released me this morning," Ayodele said. "They coaches couldn't really give me an explanation. To tell you the truth I was really caught off guard. They said I did everything right, but that they just wanted to go a different route. That is the last thing I would expect because I started the last two preseason games. This is the first time this has happened to me like this, but I have to stay encouraged the same way I have encouraged other guys over the years. They told me they let go of me early out of respect so other teams can have more time to get at me. Right now I'm truly just as shocked as you are."
we need deph at LB I think we should pick him up! any thought's guys???

lions claim guard trevor canfield
The Detroit Lions have claimed guard Trevor Canfield off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks, according to an NFL source.
Canfield was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Friday. He didn’t figure to be a fit for their line scheme after the minicamp last week. The Lions now have their second ex-Seahawk on the line after they traded for guard Rob Sims.
Canfield was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round last year. He was signed off their practice squad by the Seahawks during the season.
The Chicago Bears also put in a claim for Canfield
not a big move but any way we can screw over the bears somehow sounds good to read to me lol
SUH class act
Only days before Ndamakong Suh is drafted into the NFL(Hopefully lions), the Husker defensive lineman paid back his former school with $2.6 million in donations announced at Saturday’s Red-White Game.
Suh, speaking to fans in a taped message on the HuskerVision screens, announced that he would give $2 million to the athletic department in support of the strength and conditioning program. Additionally, Suh will donate $600,000 toward an endowed scholarship for students of [the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's] School of Engineering.
I like it better then charles rogers smoken millions of dollers. SUH in BLUE
nathan vasher realeased
Gone is veteran cornerback Nathan Vasher, a six-year veteran who appeared in one Pro Bowl.
Injuries limited Vasher in 2007 and 2008, and he started only two games in 2009 despite appearing in 15.
He was under contract through 2012, at base salaries of $2.95 million this year, $3.45 million in 2011, and $3.7 million in the final year of the deal.
does anyone think he would be a good pick up. I think it would be good plus he can stick it to the bears by signing with the lions
pitts wants to be a lion
Updating a previous item, Mark Berman, of FOX 26 Houston, reports free-agent OG Chester Pitts (Texans) said he will visit the Detroit Lions Wednesday, March 17, and could sign with the team if the offer is right. "If the Lions give me something I can't refuse, I am not leaving Detroit and I will cancel my trip to San Francisco," Pitts said. Pitts added he is impressed with what's happening in Detroit. "I like what (Lions Head) Coach (Jim) Schwartz is doing," Pitts said. "He's really upgraded his defense by adding (DL) Corey Williams and (DL) Kyle Vanden Bosch."
