Sam Zell stand up. Get your money. Go to Durbin and Obama and go after the anti trust exemption. This law is unamerican. It allows Bud Selig and Jerry Reinsdorf to put their lackeys in as owners. The owners are out of control. They rigged the Red Sox and dodgers sales and now they are doing it again. Stop bud Selig and john Canning. Cubs fans should give Bud Selig hell every time he comes to Wrigley Field. This is a total disgrace. Cuban is not a felon.

Future of Wrigley Field

I believe the biggest job for the next ownership besides winning the series is the future of the ballpark. It must be settled within the next 5 years. The Cubs can't continue at Wrigley in it's present state. I love historic ballparks like Comiskey, Tiger Stadium and Fenway. However Comiskey and Tiger Stadium are no more. Wrigley can only survive with a Solider Field type renovation. You can save the Ivy, the Scoreboard, the field and the demensions. However partial naming rights may have to be sold to avoid public money. This might mean Wrigley at Company Park. The Twins are building their new ballpark on 8 1/2 acres the same size footprint as Wrigley. Their park will also be totally ADA compliant. We need better bathrooms, better ramps, better concessions, better sightlines. In the Terrace seats you can't see the flight of the ball. We need a cantivelar not columns. Columns have no place in the seating bowl today. I say lets have a park with seating like this. A Field level, the bleachers, a club level, suite level and a upper deck. The Field Level would contain 19,000 seats, the bleachers 5,000, the Club level 7,000, the suite level 1,000 and the upper deck 12,000. The suites would be in between the Field level and the Club level. What does everybody think?

The Angels and Giants need a first baseman. Lee is from the West Coast. He would waive his no trade for the Angels no doubt. The Cubs lineup is too right handed. Dunn strikes out a ton but he is a really good OBP guy. We need a 40 homer guy and a left handed hitter that other team fear. We would miss his defense no doubt but I feel like his best days are behind him. At only 2 more years his deal isn't as huge as Soriano's.

I think either Canning or Rickets group will control the Cubs. We want Mark Cuban but those owners have too much power. I hope Sam Zell takes them on but he will likely cave to Selig. Remember Canning's first bid was rejected and he was then out of the running and now all of the sudden he's back in. You can bet Selig had alot to do with that. Remember Canning is buddy buddy with Bud Light. The next owner has a tough job he must build a winner, solve the bullpark issue. Wrigley needs a major renovation to survive. The new owner must demand that Daley repeal the landmark rule for Wrigley. The Cubs can't survive at Wrigley with that. We need a GM that develops the farm system. Hendry has fallen woefully short in this area.

The Division series should be 7 games

A Seven game series is the only real test. In a 5 game series a team can get lucky. The best team wins over 7 games. There is no reason for an 8 day 5 game series like Boston-LAA. You can add the two extra games without extending the series beyond where it is now and with having one off day for travel and in between a series. I mean the Sox-Rays series didn't start until Thursday that is 3 off days for the Rays. In the LCS there will be three off days instead of two. There is no reason for that. You can keep the season at 162 games too. the Owners won't give up any games. Lets have three seven game series. The Cubs would have won a seven game series in 1984.
