I think a league suspension is the least of Stallworth's problems. Looks like he is going to spend some time behind bars, and rightfully so.

Here is an interesting question as the whole Cassel/Cutler saga unfolds. What do you think is the more likely comparison. Will Matt Cassel be the next Scott Mitchell ( a backup who looked good coming in for a Hall of Fame QB and never living up to the expectations of leading his own team, or will Jay Cutler become the next Jeff George (the most physically gifted Qb in the league, but a basketcase who destroys each team that tries control him).

I was thinking about the possibilty that Pioli has his eye on Haley as the next head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. If that does happen is it possible that Kurt Warner could be brought to Kansas City. Warner is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. The cardinals could use the franchise on him, but I doubt they would want to on an older QB with Leinart waiting in the wings. They also have a couple of other players they may want to tag (such as Karlos Dansby).

I am not sure I would be totally in favor of this, but if we drafted Stafford or Sanchez it might be a good fit to bring him in for 2 years. What are your thoughts?

I thought the secondary played a pretty good game yesterday. They had a pick 6 and almost had about 4-5 other interceptions. These young guys all have a nose for the ball. I think the have actually played great considering how horrible the pass rush is. I think they said yesterday that we lead the league in takeaways (if that is wrong I know we are in the 2 or 3). How is that possible with 6 sacks. Usually it is pressure on the QB that forces most INT's and quite a few fumbles. I think the defense has the potential to really take away the football if we get a pass rush.

We need to find a pass rushing DE, and a couple LB next year and the Defense will be okay. Page and Pollard miss alot of tackles for big gains, but part of that is the linebackers totaly wiff and the safety has to try and make the tackle on the RB in the open field with a 10 yard head of steam. That is not an easy task. I still think it will come together for Dorsey. DT always struggle as rookies. Tank and boone are adequate. Mcbride and Hali can fight for the other DE job. The last think I think needed is a new Defensive Coordinator. I kind of like Gunther but it is time for a change.

I must say, if you told me week 1 that by the end of the year the defense would be holding back the offense from winning games, I don't think I would have belived you.

I was just looking at my football draft and guess what I discovered. Tyler Thigpen is the top fantasy quarterback in our league over the last 4 weeks. Who would have guessed that when he came back in as the starter.

We have no wins to show for it, but he has shown some promise. I am getting close to jump on the Bones Bandwagon. He continues to make plays and not mistakes (even his interception this week was just throwing it up on 4th down. Who knows, maybe we found a diamond in the rough.
