must go out on Friday nights. Don't feel bad I chose to sit home tonight. I am contemplating week 5. The Texans aren't that good but have beaten us in the past. We have beaten the Ravens in their home. Really, its like 3 bye weeks. We have Green Bay in week 8 and that may or may not be a challenge. Just have to see how their next 3 weeks go. Bret Favre is not there anymore. Arron Rodgers may crack, you never know. Tomorrow I am going to watch the Cowboys. I think they are an awesome team and I enjoy the showmanship. GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to sound insensitive & I hope no one takes this wrong, but lets keep good karma on our side. This is just a theory that I have come up with and since us colts fans have a little time on our hands to introspect here it goes. I love the game of football and watch everything. I love Peyton Manning and think he is an excellent being, last year I found it hard to believe that his little brother Eli was winning the Super Bowl. 'Where did this come from?' I ask myself. I have no doubt that Eli is an exceptional player but it took Peyton 8 years to make it to the Super Bowl and out of no where with no hoopla surrounding it Eli is winning against an 18-0 New England team. WOW. Within 3 years and coming with a team that had locker room issues and people saying he had no leadership skills (even team mates) This sweet kid who doesn't say much and always has a silly little smile is taking down Peyton's nemesis. Awesome. Then I started seeing little things that made me think karma might be at work. I am not diminishing Eli's abilities, it is obvious that Manning is a code for some genetic predisposition to nfl starting quarterbacks, but also Eli is a nice person and doesnt use his code name to define himself. When Eli Manning took the field for Supe Bowl XLII he approached Tom Brady with a good sportsmanship smile and offered a friendly handshake. Tom hautingly dissed Eli with a snub. Ouch. I mean come on Tom a hand shake. As it turns out 18-0 don't mean squat in the end. Tiki Barber mouthed about his team mate, saying things about Eli's abilities at his fancy nbc job. I don't see a 'big, beautiful, look who is a leader' ring on Tiki's finger. Huh? Just my thoughts. So let us all remember that respect and kindness to our fellow man doesnt cost a thing and yet may reward us with the ability to respect ourselves.
