First let me start by saying I think you are a great punter.  Maybe the best we've ever had.  That being said I have one little request - when you guys play Dallas this weekend, please hit the score board.....several times.  That would really be the greatest thing ever.  And I know that if you are punting alot, it means the offense isn't doing its job.  But for this one game, I want you to punt a whole bunch. And if for some reason Alex Romero gets a punt, please ask him to do the same.

usually I look forward to the draft.  But as we get closer to saturday, I am starting to get nervous.  And really because of the 10th pick.   Certainly the 10th pick has the possibility of being a good or great player.  But more likely the player will be serviceable at best or even a bust.    And even the player is a bust, its not as bad as having the #1 and busting.  Hopefully everything with players picked works out.  maybe the guy they pick will be a HOF.  or maybe they trade back and get a bunch of good guys.  or not and its a total train wreck

Actually, I am starting get nervous about the new uniforms.  There is a new draft every year.  But these uni's are permanent or semi-permanent.  And man I hope they don't screw it up.   This recent post got me anxious.

The draft can be redone next year....the jersey - we're stuck with it.  Anyone else feelin this?

maybe Mark Roman gets traded?  Maybe he gets cut? Maybe the 49ers draft a safety at somepoint?  And maybe Dashon Goldson wins the job and becomes an All Pro?  That would be the best case. 

But I've always been intrigued by the possibility of turning a guy who was once an Ace corner into a free safety (see Rod Woodson, even Merton Hanks).   I bring this up because some dude on Yahoo sports has an article about FA's and Chris McCallister is on the list.   He's lost a step to be a top corner maybe.  But he still has instincts and might be a nice saftey for someone if he was willing.
