That's right, we fly flags here in Anaheim.

Final Score: AL West Champions Angels 11, Rangers 0

There's certainly a lot of players to highlight in this clinching game to talk about...
First, we have the amazing performance by Ervin Santana, pitching a CGSO!
And then Bobby Abreu, who was just a HR shy from hitting for the cycle.
Or Kendry Morales, with a 3/3 day and belting a HR in the 1st to make a strong statement early.
Then again, we can also highlight the fact that 7 different players scored a run for us...
Plus the fact that 6 different players racked up an RBI...

Oh, this was quite a game indeed. And what a game to clinch the AL West for the 3rd consecutive time.

We don't take no mess.

3rd to last week! How did everyone do?

Well, it's another high scoring week! and coming out on top, for the 2nd week in a row, Sothball nabs 16 points! Congrats. How did you fare in week 24?

Overall, well... no surprise. 44FAN continues to lead the charts and well... let's just follow the race for 2nd.
The orange line has limited the survivers to those in the Top 20! (Did you know the top 20 can found on the sidebar?)

Though with Brew Angel's 5 point lead, that race might be a little tough too.
Wonder if we changed things up a bit, maybe we could make things interesting...

3 weeks to go!

Week 23 - Well, this week featured a LOT of points! It's been a while since we've had so many people hitting double digits! But sothball and Zoe Necrosis were able to reach up and grab 15 of 'em this week!

Overall - 44FAN has all but locked up this race! It would require some impressive chain of events to overturn his grip on first. The orange line is creeping up, indicating 44FAN's clinching position! (44FAN's pts - games left x 3)

Final Score: Angels 7, Kansas City 2

The Angels finally found a way to get some runs going when their starting pitcher, Joe Saunders, throws another great game. Saunders got into a bit of trouble in the 6th, but Jason Bulger comes in and takes care of a bases loaded jam (OK, he might've contributed to that due to an error, but the point is it got taken care of). And of course, converting 4 double plays is also nice too.

On top of that, offensively, Erick Aybar was able to TRIPLE not once, but twice in the game!

With this win, the Angels have taken all 9 games so far against the Royals this season. As well as cushioning the AL West lead to 5.5!

First a correction. Game 112 (a 4 pointer!) had a mistake. The correct answer was Darren Oliver and not Jason Bulger. So that has been fixed (and as a result the week 19 results. Find them here:
