Article on SI.com talking about the game last night and how the ROY race is between Tyreke and Jennings. He says that last night reaffirms that idea, but i dont know why. I didnt get to see the game but just from the boxscore, Jennings took 23 shots to get 22 points, while shooting under 50%. I dont know what makes those numbers so much better than Currys, but it seems as though he isnt getting as much consideration as he deserves. Hopefully he'll show everybody tonight with the 3-point contest.

The man was born to shoot 3-pointers. And he does it extremely well. This season, he has made 75 of the 166 he has shot, giving him the fourth-best make rate in the NBA, an impressive 45%.

Monta Ellis tried. Really, he did. As hard as anyone possibly could.
But even Ellis, perhaps one of the toughest 10 players to guard one-on-one in the NBA, couldn't snap the most dubious All-Star streak in the league.

I guess yahoo sports got a list of the reserves before they're announced and no monta.....

He actually has Monta as someone who should make the all star game. Maybe there is a chance.....

Nothing exciting but a poll a sports nation poll on who is most deserving of an allstar appearence. The choices: Gerald Wallace, Zach Randolph, or Monta Ellis. The results: 55% Wallace, 32% Randolph, and only 12% for Monta. Looks like alot of the fans dont think he should go. Hopefully the coachs and players feel differently. C - Golden State Warriors

There's probably a great book to be written about the 2009-10 Warriors, along the lines of Terry Pluto's classic Loose Balls about life in the ABA. On defense, they are addicted gamblers, deploying a steal-or-layup philosophy that usually ends as badly as any gambling jones. On offense, they play by far the fastest pace in the NBA, generate nearly five more fast-break points than anyone else and rank eighth in field-goal percentage. And yet, they still are only 19th in offensive efficiency because no teammate makes it down to the basket to rebound misses and maintain possession. They've been ravaged by injuries and initially beset by the Don Nelson-Stephen Jackson feud. They also have some talented players -- including Anthony Randolph, Stephen Curry and Andris Biedrins -- whose evolution outside of Nelson's petri dish would be fascinating to watch.

Golden State's Curry sees himself as a worthy runner-up. He won't say this – so I will – but he could even make a powerful argument that he's the most instinctive and effective playmaker among his rookie peers....

You might not like his defense, even when he plays defense, or his me-first instincts. But you still can't deny almost 18 points per game in 28 minutes, while coming off the bench for 20 of 31 contests.
