With the Jackie Robinson day on Wednesday I was wondering if any other "diehard" fans were bothered by the fact that the Mets get more recognition for Jackie than the Dodgers do. They have their new Rotunda and had a huge ceremony with Rachel Robinson and got the prime-time game Wednesday night where she even was in the booth.

Now I understand the New York angle here, but Jackie played for the DODGERS not the mets- Shea stadium was originally planned FOR the Dodgers but they left. Does anyone else think that the Dodgers should play a bigger part of Jackie Robinson day then they do? Does anyone else get slightly irked that the Mets steal our thunder on this?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that the Mets give him so much attention, but I think the Dodgers should play a bigger part of JR day.
