Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Kansas City Episode
My main man Anthony Bordain went to KC late last year to film an episode of No Reservations, it'll air on The Travel Channel next Monday, April 16th. From the previews I've seen, he does, in fact, attend a Chiefs game.

Should I switch to DirecTV to watch the Chiefs??
I'm hoping some one here would be able to give me a few words of wisdom on DirecTV. I'm in MD, running with Verizon FiOS, which I'm fine with, but I think it's time to pony up and switch to DTV so I can get the Ticket and watch the Chiefs games. I've been weighing the pros and cons of switching, but finally being able to watch the Chiefs in my own home is tilting the scale heavily in DTV's favor. I'm just wondering if anyone has any opinions on the subject, are the prices cheaper, how is the signal during storms, would they have to tear up my place to run new wires or can they use the existing ones from Verizon. Also, do they come out for a pre-inspection before installation to see if it's even possible for me to have an open shot at the HD Satellite, I've heard from buddies that if you have interference, they can't use the HD dish and your stuck with SD. If that's the case, that wraps it up right there, I'm not rocking standard definition, no way, no how.
One more question, if the Chiefs game is blacked out in KC, would I still get it in MD?
I've solved the Revis vs. Jets issue....
I read on PFT and elsewhere on Warpaint that the Jets have possibly, maybe, probably, looked into the option of actually (gasp!) trading Revis. While a few weeks ago I would have though this pure bafoonery, it now makes perfect sense, and seems to be the smartest thing to do. The Jets have messed up and had some great drafts lately, and while this would seem like what you SHOULD be doing, it actually puts you in a bind contractually when all these good young players come up for new contracts at/around the same time. David Harris is up at the end of the year, wants a new deal, Nick Mangold is up at the end of the year, wants a new deal, D'Brickashaw just broke the bank, plus they've already paid feet-hands Braylon a decent sum. This all equates to someone having to be left out, and it makes the most sense for that someone to be Revis.
The Jets already have Cromartie, I know I know, not the best, but certainly serviceable, and just drafted what many pundits considered to be the best CB in the draft in Kyle Wilson, so CB is not exactly a weakness for them with or without Revis. Compensation in return could end up being ludicrous, 2 1st's, a 1 and a 2, a good starter and a 1, the options are endless, and if the right team were involved, Ravens I'm looking at you, this could be Herschel Walker 2.0.
The bottom line here is that I agree that Revis is the best in the business, and should be paid accordingly. But sometimes it can actually hurt to draft too good, too soon, and someone's going to have to miss the bus.
