To actually believe that he has hired "well" because two coaches that clearly sucked at ISU have now won national titles....I mean I knew ISU fans were desperate but this is a new low.  The Chiz clearly had alums buy him a national championship, and Cael would never, could never beat Iowa in their own back yard.  A good hire has to fit with the school, it's not a one way street.

There's alot of worrying about the polls screwing over Iowa in the long run.

After the new ELO ranking came out today I did some number crunching.  (Cause I'm a nerd)

If the current computer polls continue their pattern, Iowa could easily end up number 3 despite no one in the media wanting them to be.

It comes down to averages.  Iowa keeps winning all it will take is 4th in the coaches and harris polls to move to the number 3 spot.  Why?  Because Texas is god awful in the computer poll.

So what needs to happen?

1. Harris and coaches poll moves Iowa to 4th, behind Florida, bama, and Texas.  (Reasonable in the next 4 weeks if Iowa keeps winning)

2. Computer polls keep improving Iowa.  This is almost 100% given, most of the computers polls use S.O.S. as a major factor and Iowa has that in the bag.

3. WIN.  All of this is shit if they drop a game.  So GO HAWKS!

They GAVE the other team those turnovers, fuck the facts.  Take away the defense on those plays and it will turn out the same way, fumbles and interceptions.  In no way was it Iowa or OSU Defense that caused those turnovers.  Oh and lets completely ignore special teams while we're at it too, head in the sand style.

Same story every year, they should have, they could have, the refs screwed them, they gave the game away.

Do I believe the Hawks will win Saturday?  Absolutely.  However there are a few things that would make a great game unforgettable in my mind.

1.  Remember the 2nd half of the Penn State game?  Remember the baby eating that was happening on the defensive line?  I want that, the whole game Saturday.  I want the national media to be awestruck by the tenacity and utter devastation that our defense brings to the table for all four quarters.  Enough of this Tim Tebow/Bradshaw B.S. the national media is obsessed with quarterbacks.  Lets see what happens when one of their precious "talents" actually plays against a defense with a pulse.  (Screw the Big 12 while I'm on a rant.)

2.  Forcier, pulled from the game.  His performance should be so dismal he doesn't start another game.  0 td's with 2 fumbles and and interception.  And per number one, sacked 5 times.  Points would be awarded to me in the following fashion:

Crying: +1

Head in hands: +2

Hissy fit: +3

Staring with a blank look on national tv at the scoreboard as time runs out: +10  (Win is still best in my mind)

3.  I want this to be the game every pundit in the country points to at the end of the season and next year as the game that broke michigan's back.  The game that tore the team apart and sent them spiraling out of bowl contention.  (Or too the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl in Detroit hahahahahahaha)

4.  And the hail mary.  I want this win to be so embarrassing Rich Rod losses it all.  Game, Team, Recruits, and then his job.  Utter humiliation, the kind that makes him wonder if this is karma for screwing over WVU.  (And for coaching at michigan.)
