Avid Jazz fan, born and raised in Salt Lake City, University of Arizona grad, law student at George Washington University Law School. Generally nice to everyone, unless you say something bad about Shandon Anderson, Paul Millsap, or Aaron Sorkin (yeah, I know, he's not a basketball player. It's one of his few flaws). Then we're gonna have problems. Although you can make it up to me by making fun of the Tribune's Brian T. Smith.
P.S. I am a woman. Most people on the internet do not know this about me, so by reading the previous sentence, you are now in a fairly exclusive club. Welcome.

Fesenko Friday - Recapping the Best in Captions
I was really bored last week. It was halfway through Spring Break, it was the middle of the day, no one else was home, and I was already sick of catching up on my reading. What do I typically do when I'm bored? Spend excessive amounts of time on the internet. But Youtube and Facebook weren't doing it for me, so I turned to SLC Dunk. I started reading posts from earlier in the week until I came across the previous week's Fesenko Friday. And there really is no better cure for boredom than going back through all the past Fesenko Fridays to see some of the best humor this blog has to offer (apart from Game Thread humor, which is in a class of its own).
Halfway through the Fesenko Fridays, I figured I would perform a public service for the other readers of this blog and collect the pictures and best captions (dating back to September of last year) and put them in one giant FanPost for your reading pleasure. Enjoy.

Bill Simmons grades the trades
Simmons gives the Deron Williams trade generally an A-minus, saying it was a no-brainer for New Jersey and was "[w]ell played" on our end. He then naturally goes on to jab Jazz fans about the "see, I was right about Chris Paul being better than Deron Williams!" thing, never mind the fact that he's flip-flopped on that debate more than the average politician does on government spending (and I'm still not sure exactly how this trade proves that Chris Paul is better, but whatever).
He redeems himself with what he probably didn't intend as a "Princess Bride" reference, but, as a member of this blog, I'm naturally choosing to interpret it that way:
"Jazz fans are like Sicilians: You don't mess with them."
That's right, never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
