Had some scary quickness on the court, so maybe that translate to the field.

True. But Manu is definitely one of the best at it. Almost Danny Ainge/Vlade Divac quality. They were the best ever at it.

The grounding non-call in the SB still pisses me off. That ball was 5 yards short of the line of scrimmage with no receiver near it

Good stuff. Based on your criteria, I have to go with Chris Myers. He's been a stud every year in the league

All solid points, Warren. We'll see how "into it" he is straight away. If he is. Yikes. He ran through some of the Miami opponents at LG like they were the blocking sled--unbridled nasty.

It's why I didn't quit. Knew we weren't that far apart, just coming at it from completely different angles. :D

On elite teams I think TC is a completely different animal than it is for the "bottom feeders"

Completely agree! Just look for the best 5 at their best position.

Wow! Chris Harris as Exhibit A? Which of us is speaking Japanese/Russian here. You're heels are so dug in you don't realize the entire hillside you're sitting on is moving.

I guess what I'm saying is this coaching staff trusted Clark to serve as the edge OLineman so much in 2011, that he is credited with 6 starts there.

Really? Did you not watch the 2011 season? Where we heard "tackle eligible" so often that it became annoying
Commented on Behind The MHR Scene: Should Franklin Be Moved to Left Guard? on Mar 25 2014, 3:44p - 2 replies
How quickly so many have forgotten 2011. When Clark was frequently used (particularly in short yardage run situations) as essentially the RT (tackle eligible)

I live in the Puget Sound (and Moffitt being an ex-Seahawk) so it made front page news when it happened. Not pretty.

Hillman was 13 in college, so maybe moving to 23 will re-invigorate him.

In this offense, he could become the steal of Free Agency. Elusive, great hands, crazy speed/quickness, and can play inside or outside. What's not to like?

Let's remember DT played most of the SB with a messed up shoulder (and caught 13 passes despite it). Moreno wasn't the only toughness on this offense

As safety conscious as the league has become, pushing a guy's head back shouldn't be legal under any circumstances.
Commented on Six-Pack: Proposed NFL Rule Changes on Mar 20 2014, 6:36p
Helmet is fine. Grabbing the face mask and ramming it backwards. . .not fine. No one else on the field can do that, why should the ballcarrier get a pass?
Commented on Six-Pack: Proposed NFL Rule Changes on Mar 20 2014, 4:51p - 1 reply
Huge scheme flexibility, including a new addition to our screen arsenal--the runoff screen
Commented on Welcome to "Wide Receiver Heaven" on Mar 20 2014, 4:42p
But if the OLine can't even do it, the ball carrier shouldn't be able to either

I'd like to see the stiff arm to the face-mask of the defensive player be a 15 yard penalty on the offense. Don't know how many times I've see that play

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how good this kid is. NE tried to pry him away last year for a reason. BB saw the potential too.
Commented on Broncos free agency poll: Which was the best Broncos free agent signing? on Mar 20 2014, 3:01p
True. But it's something he's clearly had success doing at this level. So it gives us an additional option

Been screaming for this one for years. It can too easily change a game, and a judgement call should never be given that kind of impact.
