World Series Rings
Hey guys the Yanks got their rings this week and that are really nice in my opinon, but I anted to get your opinion on them, but more so I wanted to share a story that if you havent heard about it you need to about Joba. Joba said he will give his World Series ring to his father, Harlan, who is confined to a motorized scooter because of polio and various other illnesses. "Without the opportunity my dad gave me as a kid, I'd never have had that chance to win. I will give it to him so he can wear it with pride," Chamberlain said. "I'll wear it while he's here (in New York this week) and give it to him for when he goes home (to Nebraska)."
So what do you think of the rings?

PROPOSED TRADE
This just in for ESPN and MLB.com, GOD has just offered the New York Yankees his only begotten son Jesus Christos, the keys to the pearly gates, and the soul of Babe Ruth for Francisco Cervelli. Peter Gammons is reporting that Brian Cashman said that he would only make the trade if hell froze over, but current reports show that Satan wants no part in a three way deal. Looks like Cervelli is a Yank for life!
"Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?"

Dear WhoDat Nation,
As a sports fan, and not as a Saints fan, I want congratulate you all on a season that ends in happiness and excitement. It is a great feeling to know that all year you look forward to the big game and the first for your team. It is a huge deal for your team, the city and for the league. Take it in and remember that they can’t win it every year, but you can cheer the same every year! Cheer like champs, party like champs!

NO MORE DAMN DAMONNopnoDamon
Guys I know that we all are tired of hearing about this Jackleg so please stop making posts. I don't care whether he is or isnt in Pinstripes next year, but I do care that we keep posting the sam crap over and over again. Is Damon Brett Farve? Nope, so why is he getting the coverage that Favre get every year. Look into the future and no in hte past. If he signs, he signs. One man is not going to win our 28th World Series the same way that no one person won us the past 27 (altho some helped more than others). So today. January 27, 2010, I ask that we abolish Damon from Pinstripe Alley until he signs with us or with someone else.
UPDATE: YANKEES SIGN OF RANDY WINN, MAKING DAMON A LONER ON THE OUTSIDE AND POOR!
GGBG
Can some help me by directing me to where i can find, whether it be a news article, blog spot ect, the origins of the G.G.B.G nickname for Brett Gardner? "Gritty Gutty Brett Gardner" i get that, but where did it come from. I know that there are many other names for Brett, like the "jet" or the "squirrel", but I can not find who came up the G.G.B.G. Any help? In the mean time, what is your favorite nickname ever given to a Yankee?
AJAX in the Outfield?
What are we waiting for with AJAX? I mean he looks alot better than Ransom and on par with Duncan, but he can seem to make it on the 40 man. Granted they are not the same positions, but the OF is the problem area with Damon and Matsui being FAs, Gardner and Nady, Melky and Swisher. Is there a chance we will get a look at AJAX in 2010? Let me know what you think or if you have heard some rumors.
Any news on Melky?
After leaving last night's game limp, I have yet to hear, read or see to what extent his injury is. Does anyone have any new information on what happen and if he will play tonight? He really hasnt been a huge help at the plate, but I think it would be tough to ask Gardner to come in and be affective. So if you have any information please forward that and play on Yanks! Play on!
Bandwagoneer?
Where are you from? Do you face the "bandwagon" name calling that I do? I am from Oklahoma. I have been a Yankees fan for as long as I can remember. I am always told that I can not be a true Yankees fan because I live too far from NYC and that I am only a fan because we are always good. If they knew much about Yankee baseball they would know that Oklahoma has been a birthplace for many Yankees and on of the greatest all time, Mantle, came out of Oklahoma. Although I have not been to Yankee Stadium, old or new, I do not think it is fair to call me a bandwagoner. I have been to almost every Yanks v Rangers and Yanks v Royals games in the last 4 years so its not like I am just wearing the cap and jerseys. I am only 21 and still in college, so it impossible to pay $1200 for a trip to the Big Apple. Does this happen all over?
PS.
The Po Sux will be losing bandwagoners after this year!
Dear Fans
Dear Yankee fans,
I know that I am only a few hits away from the all time Yankee hits record, but please stop and realize that all I want to do is play every game as I have since I began with this time. Yes I am nearing a record, but I am also trying to lead our team to number 27, a record more important than any record that I could set. I am so glad that I have all of you to watch and cheer for us, but please understand that you must treat every AB like it is just another AB and not the last out in the World Series. I hope to see you all in the stands as we make the playoffs and win number 27.
Forever #2,
Jerry Hairston Jr.
WHY? Why every year when we only need pitchers to give us a pop before the playoffs, we decide to make stupid trades for some worthless position player that will only keep the bench warm. Are we unloading a load of crap like our Kyle Farnsworth. It is ridiculous. Cashman cant get the job done anymore. We are in need of a strong starting pitcher that can go deep into games and win more than .500 of his games.
