Also, how close is Crawford to passing AnVil on the list of top Giants prospects? Yes, small sample size, but I'm tempted to go (1) Madbum, (2) Posey, (3) Crawford, (4) Villalona, and (5) Alderson (doesn't have swing through stuff!?!?!?!?!?)

This isn't meant to be a slight to Villalona or Alderson. I'm actually a bit higher on both of them now than I was last year. That being said, I'm going all Fox Mulder on Crawford right now.

Is it common for high schoolers to commit to a college but still enter their name in the draft? I hope so, because I would love the Giants to pick him up with their #6 pick; at least one mock draft I've seen has that happening. I'd also love to get either Ackley or Green, but I don't think they'll fall to 6.

I'm pretty surprised that they didn't put Tim II in the top 50. His numbers last year were very good and the Giants had him pitching at a level that was quite advanced for his age. I guess they aren't impressed by his stuff.
