Stan Kroenke's Colorado Rapids won their first MLS cup last night (congrats to them). Of course old man Stan was there (on the left) to see his team win, and looks just so excited and enthused over the big win in the attached video.

Looks like he is just going through the motions on this one without much interest, much like he does with our beloved Avalanche. Hopefully a little more excitement will be seen from his son after he hands over control. Anyway, go Avs!

Well, no shocker here. Via ESPN, Sakic is going to be inducted into the Colorado Hall of Fame in April 2010 with Mike Shanahan and others. Obviously this is the first of many post career accolades Super Joe is going to be collecting. I'm almost surprised it  took this long haha. I think the keys to the city might also be in order, or at least a permanent street name in Denver.

I dont know how i feel about the blue, or the wordsmark, but its better than nothing. Stas and Quincey will allegedly debut them. I wish they had made some sort of alternate logo, that would have been much cooler and I would love to have something new to buy.  I'm excited to see these on the ice! What do you guys think?
