http://www.sbnation.comhttp://www.sbnation.com/users/shovel%20and%20spade Posts made by shovel and spade on SB Nation http://www.denverstiffs.com/2008/10/18/637578/can-we-put-the-d-back-in-d shovel and spade Sat, 18 Oct 2008 13:15:18 -0000 <p>well quickly glancing over the stats is it safe to say the d is back.&nbsp; is it too early and can the nuggets keep up this winning streak in the regular season.&nbsp;</p> <p>against t-wolves denver got 13 steals in comparison to 8 by the wolves, outrebounded 56-46, created 19 turnover but giving up 14 turnovers</p> <p>against the&nbsp;jazz they equalled in rebounds 41 apiece, 17 steals compared to jazz 9 steals, caused 26 turnovers but only giving up the ball 18 times</p> <p>against the suns( the inside one) they got outrebounded by 4 (not substandially so this stat is irrelevant to a certain extent), more steals 12 to 8 and caused more turnovers 23 to 20.</p> <p>i realise that its hard to judge because certain players from either side arent playing but its the team concept of defense during these games are important.</p> <p>feedback......</p>
