For sale on Ebay. It belonged to my grandfather, check it out. Good condition, expected wear for the age. Made by the exacta time corporation in the late 40's either 48 or 49. Does not work right now, however, all the original parts are there, including the original band, so it should be repairable. Sorry for the solicitation, but I thought a bunch of Yankee fans would be interested. Auction ends 9/12.

MLBtraderumors.com said the Braves and Angels have been scouting the Cards. It indicated that Reyes was the focal point. Do you think Reyes is worth Lillibridge? Mo says Reyes can be had for a top of the line prospect and another player. Can we really expect to get that from a guy who can't seem to get it together in the rotation. If he is destined to be a reliever then I don't think he will be worth the asking price. What do you think?

I know we have done this already, but it is one of my favorite pastimes. I sat down and looked at our current roster and these are my favorite scenarios. All lineups assume that Rasmus makes the starting lineup out of spring training.

Line up 1-

Izturez
Rasmus
Pujols
Glaus
Ankiel
Duncan
Molina
Pitcher
Kennedy

Line up 2- assumes Ryan wins the SS job

Kennedy/Ryan
Rasmus
Pujols
Glaus
Ankiel
Duncan
Molina
Pitcher
Ryan/Kennedy

Line up 3- assumes we trade Duncan at the end of ST

Kennedy/Ryan
Rasmus
Pujols
Glaus
Ankiel
Ludwick
Molina
Pitcher
Ryan/Kennedy

I like the last one the best because it assumes we have traded Duncan for at least a #3 starting pitcher, preferably one from the Giants, Linsecum or Lowry.

Scott Kazmir possibly available for trade

I read on mlbtraderumors.com that the Rays could possibly make Kazmir available for the right price. He would be a better option than Santana as he has 3 years left on his current contract and is younger. I would be in favor of trading even Rasmus, Anderson, and any other player not named Pujols to get a pitcher who could compete for a Cy Young in the next year. What do you think?
