I'm gonna keep on proposing trades...

4 way deal.  Only happens if toronto feels inclined to deal bosh obviously,  most likely they wont, but who knows what could happen at the trade deadline.

Bulls Send out Hinrich (to Kings), Thomas and Deng (to Raptors) Johnson (Warriors)

Toronto sends Bosh to Bulls

Warriors send Speedy Claxton (salary filler) Devean George and Azubuike to the Bulls

Kings send Kenny Thomas to the Warriors (salary filler) and Sergio Rodriguez to the Bulls

Salary works out.  The only player with more than 1 year on their contract is Hinrich and Deng

The bulls give up a lot, but they get Bosh, And could possibly have enough salary to sign another Star next season Rose, Noah,  Taj, and Salmons if he opts in are the only salaries we'd have to deal with which is about 10 Mil + salmons possibly, + resigning bosh for max at about 20 mil? (dont know the exact contract numbers) that would leave us with about another 20 mil under the cap. to sign wade, lebron, whomever...

This season the bulls would be left with

PG- Rose, Rodriguez, claxton (most likely bought out)

SG-Azuibuike, Pargo

SF-Salmons, George

PF- Bosh, Taj

C- Noah, Miller

Next year our team would look like Rose, X, X, Bosh Noah.  Taj off the bench, with about 25 Mil of cap space.

Toronto would only do this if they were certain bosh was leaving.  But they are getting two players they can keep long term in toronto.  Deng playing better only makes the trade more likely.  They could also match any offer tyrus got this offseason.

Warriors i have no idea.  They are dysfunctional.  I added them because teh bulls needed a SG/SF this season to fill the spots vacated by Deng and Hinrich.  Any team could be substituted for the warriors role in this trade, but the warriors are hte most likely to do something stupid. (they would still have ellis, Curry, Morrow, maggette, Jackson, randolph, wright, Biedrins, and Turiaf.  and they would get James johnson to add some girth to their lanky team.  I also thought that the kings could send brockman to the warriors but thats not really a big deal. (it would work if it had to be done)

Kings trade 2 expiring contracts, for a proven PG,  Tyreke evans can move to the 2 now, Kevin martin can play the 3.  Thompson at the 4, Hawes at the 5, with casspi and Nocioni off the bench.. suddenly they have a team? Maybe they could throw in Donte green instead of the warriors giving us devean george.  I dunno how much they like green, or how much they value hinrich.

Again, this is all predicated on teh fact that the raptors would be willing to trade bosh.  I would throw our 1st round pick anywhere in this deal to make it work cause we would end up throwing all our eggs into the 2010 basket, but at least we would still keep a pretty solid core Rose, Bosh, Noah, and Taj.  We've got our Bigs taken care of, our PG taken care of, and could bid high on Wade, Bron, or joe Johnson.  Who wouldnt want to play on a team like that.  If we got any of those 3 guys, we could sign anyone as a back up for minimum contracts and still dominate.

I Know this is a pipe dream, but at least its kind of a thought out pipe dream, and not too ludicrous...If nothing else its original.

A why not trade with Jazz to shake things up?

Bulls send, Thomas, James, and Salmons, to the Jazz for Boozer, and korver.

The salaries are within 500K, all of the contracts are/could be expiring.  Deron williams isnt happy with his team, the bulls clearly need some help somewhere.

Kirk starts at the 2, and boozer starts at the 4,  Korver and Pargo would probably have to play a combined 20-25 minutes a night.  Which is scary, but I think its worth it for some expirings, a floor spacer, and an ex-allstar PF for a 1 year committment.

Hinrich Vs. Gordon

Who do you all think would get the best of this matchup during the regular season?  I put my money on hinrich stopping BG.  But thats just my respect for Hinrich's D, and knowing BG's tricks.

Won't that be ridiculously fun to watch 4 times a year for the next 3 years?  Hinrich harassing Gordon with his shirt pulling, and would be able to move step for step with BG.  Not to mention his superior size, and equal strength?

Who would you all take?

A possible solution to many of our problems.

Mind you this is all based on rumors/things i've found online.

EDIT: I basically worked this into a 3 team deal that seems a little more lopsided than initially intended. but only because the salaries are difficult to match.

Also, this is predicated on the assumption that Portland will sign Turkeyglue.

CHI gets:

Boozer, Rudy F., Steve Blake

Portland Gets:

Kirk, Anthony Roberson, Cash or future 1st round pick?

Jazz gets:

Ty Thomas, Salmons, Travis Outlaw

The salaries match up

I honestly just read on RealGM about jazz wanting to trade Boozer,  and thought maybe they would be happy with that haul?

The more i think about it, the more i think that neither the blazers or the jazz would go for it, but it would be pretty sweet

Noah getting HUGE?

" A shirtless Joakim Noah strutted around Berto Center, showing off an upper body that was noticeably bulked-up"

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/chi-26-bulls-bits-chicago-jun26,0,3573766.story?track=rss

If this is true, this is great news for us.  As long as he can keep his stamina and athleticism, he needed this bulk to push back against Dwight, Perkins, Lopez, Shaq, all those guys in the east that have been beasting him around.  This is great news for the bulls, as he has every possibility to be the C of the future to build around, with his hustle, athleticism, and passion for the game.

Adande: Bulls still working for 11th pick

[Note by your friendly BullsBlogger, 06/25/09 3:41 PM CDT: From the FanPosts. Remember, open threads start at 5! -ed.]

We're still trying to get NJ to give us the 11th for 16 and 26 according to J.A. Adande on ESPN... which i am all for.  Hopefully the NJ/ORL possible Carter trade wont effect our deal.  I'm assuming that we will end up at 11... and I'm hoping that somehow harden falls that far.  As unlikely as that is, i just dont trust williams jumper and we need a good shooter next to rose.  We cant just have 3 slashers with rose, williams, and deng.

Trade idea from a bulls fan.

Just wondering what you all thought of this deal.

Ben Gordon in a sign in trade (signed for about 8-10 mil a year), with jerome james (and his 6 million insurance covered contract that ends after this next year), along with our 26th pick.

For

Your 5th pick, Etan thomas and his 6 mil contract, songalia and his 4 million$ contract for hte next 2 years, and mike james and his 6 million dollar player option for this coming year(that he will most likely opt into).

Your starting 5 would be Arenas, Gordon, Butler, Jamison, and Haywood (which isnt to shabby) with Crittenton, young, and mcgee coming off the bench.

Just wondering the other sides thoughts,as i  see it as a good deal with both sides (since hearing you are looking to trade the pick for a known commodity)

Why not Camby?

His Contract expires in 2 years, and he has no place in the clipps rotation with Randolph.  A package of Noc and noah?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=3224~2456~125&teams=12~12~4&te=&cash=

Maybe throw in Sefolosha if we have to.  Since we are content playing hughes at the 3, we will have more then enough players to fill in for Noc's time on the court.  And noc has been playing well with rose, so his value may be up.  His contract also is downwardly trended.

This trade helps us because camby is that C we need (although not offensively minded, he is not inept like noah).  He and gooden would make for a surprisingly formidaly front court.

Thoughts?

Trade for Jason Kidd

My proposal would solve numerous problems.

We should trade Hinrich and Hughes for Jason Kidd.  The salaries match up very closely(not sure about the exact numbers), but Kidd gets off the books soon.  This would allow us to resign gordon, and have one of the best mentors for Rose.  Kidd has 1 maybe 2 decent years left, just enough time to let Rose ease into his starting role.  Meanwhile we get rid of the log jam in the backcourt, and keep gordon (which im still not sold is a good idea, but it could work with a passer like kidd/rose).

Dallas would do it because hinrich is the defender kidd used to be, and hughes is a starting two(or so people in the NBA think,  I would trade him for a sack of dimes...no, pennies), which they dont really have right now.  Eddie jones and Stackhouse are WAY too old.  Hughes gets off the books in 2 years anyway, and at that point they can start their rebuilding around josh howard and hinrich.  We know Cuban likes to spend his money, so I really do see this as benefiting both sides.
