Hi Hornets fans, I'm a member of the Kings blog. I was discussing a Chris Andersen/James Posey foul in game 2 of the Nuggets-Hornets playoff matchup but my fellow Kings fans are more interested in Kings-related fouls :P....so i came here hoping to get your inputs.

I am referencing a situation early in the 4th quarter of game 2 this past week....please go here, read my synopsis of what happened, and let me know what you think of the situation. If you happen to have a recording of that game, you can see what i was referring to by going to 10:10 and 10:03 in the 4th quarter.

What's up with injury plagued teams doing so well?

I'm not dreaming am I? The Knicks and the Sixers are doing far better than they were post-brawl and post-Iverson, respectively.

I'm also watching the Heat play in Phoenix tonight, and it seems like even without Shaq, Wade, Walker, and Posey, they are doing quite well (only 5 points behind a fully healthy phoenix team).

Could it be that these 3 teams starters were lacking in effort and now their replacements' passion is actually translating into better gameplay?

According to the article it doesn't absorb water, but that's the only advantage over the old ball. It's actually slippier as the game goes on, it has lower bounce, and has unpredictable bounce characteristics.

I think we're gonna see more than a few airballs and botched drives to the hoop these first few months of the season.

The next Bibby?

Bibby's not getting any younger. Ronnie Price and Jason Hart don't seem like they can be decent substitutes, let alone replace him. Quincy Douby is a complete unknown to me; I wonder how he'll perform this year?

Personally I feel like the Kigns are going to have to find a decent free agent in a few years if they want to stay competitive. Who do you think that can be?
