Kellen Winslow

I got bored today and went to the BB message board and came across a lively discussion on whether to trade for kellen winslow at the end of the season. First of all i dont know what kind of contract kellen is in, but it seems interesting. i think the main question comes down to "is this a kid with severe problems mentally and immature or is it just the organazation he is in that he is unhappy with?" obviously he is seen as bad as shockey and his complaints and antics, but shockey calmed down this season it seemed. anyways to the point, winslow is only 25 years old, and a real threat at the TE position. avg blocker, but really excels at catching the ball.

in theory, this would give the bills lynch, edwards, evans, jackson, reed, and possibly winslow on the offensive side of the ball. no one can argue that wouldnt be a hell of an offensive attack. but of course his attitude remains. i think if he can prove hes not an a-hole and have faith that whitner, edwards and jauron could keep him check, hed be a grreat asset. i would give a second and 5 for winslow maybe get a 6 or 7 in return also.

i thought i would just throw this out there, feel free to call me dumb, but winslow (love him or hate him) has the potential to be a great TE, and hes still young. maybe with age comes maturity?

MNF and the Jets

Is anyone else watching this monday night game? The Jets were supposed to be the leaders of the AFC east? they are getting handed a whooping on MNF. One of their scores was set up with a 94 yd kick off return and the other was a INT for a TD. Of course i write this as the game is in progress, but as of right now its 38-14 so i wouldnt be surprised if the jets added some throw away td's late in the game. I cant believe everyone jumped on the jets bandwagon after brady went down, this is the same team as last year, just higher pay roll. You cant just buy veterans and think that everything is gonna be fine. have to have that team chemistry.

And a second thing, how does the patriot loss on sunday get more press than the bills starting 3-0 for the first time since 1992 get lil or no air-time? I mean im all for not much press and sneaking up on opponents, but give a little credit where its due. what the bills did on sunday was a huge deal, what a comeback. as always bills get no love/respect from the national press.

Oh and i also have heard no priase for our man trent, who has two 4th quarter comebacks this season, and has been stellar in the 4th quarter. all the talk is about cutler and rivers. ugh
