Mizzou to the SEC?
I know the idea of this is not news but the recent developments are making it look like it may be sooner rather than later. I for one am not a fan of this at all. I found this quote particularly telling, "Deaton (Mizzou chancellor) said he would relinquish his position of chairman of the Big 12's board of directors to avoid a conflict of interest."

How is that big Boise St. victory looking now? Kind of reminds me of when Bama beat the hell out of Clemson in 2008, and Clemson turned out to be awful. The big difference is Bama followed up that victory with several other victories over teams that my local high school couldn't beat.
Masoli has to sit a year before playing at Ole Miss
NCAA ruled Masoli has to sit out a year. Ole Miss is of course appealing the decision.
Eligibility question
What does a school releasing a player from his commitment mean to the student athelete? I'm asking because I'm curious about the UT Bryce Brown situation. He's going to have to sit out a year regardless so what will UT releasing him or not mean?
What would a 2011 NFL lock out mean to Alabama Football?

No new news here, but something to think about. If there is a lock out in the NFL in 2011 what would that mean for Alabama football? Would it mean that those talented juniors on the roster would have no choice but to return for their senior season at the Capstone? Think about Ingram, J. Jones, Barron, Dareus and Hightower to name a few all coming back for their senior season. Interesting to say the least.
