I'm following a Sportsmanagement course in school this year and we have english classes. For this course we have to write about any topic we like. Obviously I went with the Padres. In this fanpost I'd like to share the introduction of my paper with you. In this introduction I try to explain why I chose the Padres. The paper is still a work in progress so the grammar and language might be off. Anyways I'm not sure if you'll like this or if this is even the right place for this kinda stuff but I thought I'd try to give something back to the community that has given me so many good laughs that I've lost count. If there is some interest I could probably post more once more is written. Here goes...

Thanks to a coincidence at work Mrs sixpak (girlfriend) is able to take 3 consecutive weeks of vacation. We decided that we wanted to go to a more distant location and after some lobbying by me we both picked California as our destination. We don't have an exact itinerary yet but we are flying to San Francisco. After we visit that city we'll rent a car an drive to Vegas and then to our final stop San Diego. Naturally I would rather die than visit San Diego and not go to a Padres game (or two). 

We are definitely checking out the game against the Dodgers on the 24th of september and I'm hoping to catch at least one other game before the 30th (the day we go back to Belgium). I'm writing this fanpost to see if you guys wouldn't mind answering a question and maybe giving some tips and tricks on how to best enjoy a game at Petco. 

My question is quite simple and concerns the seats. What is the best section to enjoy a game? I'm willing to spend quite a lot on seats because I probably will not be going to Petco in quite some time after september. If we go to a 2nd game I'll go for the best-value for money seat but I really want to be able to take the game in as best as I possibly can. 

All I know is that I'm absolutely looking forward to this!

PS: Any other tips on traveling in California are always welcome too!
