Still Think Amar'e not the answer for us?
If you were in the building last night to see the Warriors you obviously saw Amar'e absolutely dismantle the great showing that ANthony Tolliver was putting together. How lucky were the Warriors they just didnt chain feed over and over and over again to Amar'e.
Double Team? No problem. Triple team? And 1 please. Its absolutely ridiculous. Chris Bosh, doesnt, hasnt, and never will be such a DOMINATING figure like that. Oh and if you think "wait, that was against a D-Leaguer".... no matter, 3 nights ago he dropped 44 on Carlos Boozer.
This guy is the answer to our prayers, we need an aggresive 4-5 that can score, but MOST OF ALL get in the post. If we had post scoring last night, we would've blown out the Suns. We didnt, so instead we had to settle for a TON of 3 pointers, and jump shots, which are fine when its all falling, but you can't realistically expect to knock down jumpers and shoot over 50% a night just to win a game.
Again, just posting this to shed light once again, that this dude is the scariest big man in the NBA besides Dwight Howard. No contest. Just absolutely vicious.
Your thoughts?
Still think his defense is an issue?
Worst GM in last 20 years?
What has Steve Kerr done to the Phoenix Suns?
Baron Davis Twitter
Just cause I can, I occasionaly visit other basketball websites which I will not front here, but they do NBA player twitter updates etc..
I have run accross Baron Davis' like 9034829023849023804923 times, that dude is always on twitter, like "Zipping up my pants" or "Putting on socks" ok ok so not literaly but honestly he does it every 10 minutes...
Know whats funny? Not 1 basketball related thing ever. Its always music, movie premieres, something quirky with everyday things etc..
I mean this dude is like one of the biggest IT geeks I have ever seen... I mean... he is like a cool nerd, but a nerd fo realz. I dont think Baron Davis thinks of Basketball as his #1 passion, I really think he wants to be this business/movie person (dude will be at this a while, his skills are rougher then Shaq's free throws) the NBA is just the easiest way to make alot of cash to support his addiction untill the bitter end.
I am so glad he didn't resign here. It would be so depressing. I bet he quits on things just as soon as they get hard. Quit in UCLA left early. Quit in New Orleans/Charlotte he got a coach who demanded more. Quit in Golden State when Don Nelson didnt play him whenever/however he wanted too.... No in Clipper Nation I would say much of the same is happening.
Baron Davis ladies and Gentlemen is the new Tracy McGrady ( no he is not a 1st round virgin ) but Vince Carter, T-Mac, Baron Davis and a few others I think are the BIGGEST waste of talents in the NBA over the last 10 years. Guys who have all the tools with them, and around them and never do jack when push comes to shove.
Sad sad sad.....I'd rather have my team fail because they lack skill, then lacking effort. You just cant reverse that.
Chris Bosh Available
As ESPN.com's Steven A. Smith reported Bosh is pretty much done with Toronto.
Mr. Randolph just fired his agent.
Uh....do I smell a Randolph for Bosh Package, 3 team deal coming? Brand to Toronto, Bosh to Warriors, Randolph to Philadelphia?
We got other contracts to make the payscale work......oh man...
I know this looks like a far fetch, but were one of the few teams in the NBA that have the contracts to make a trade of this magnitude work. Philadelphia also wants to dump Brand really bad...

How long before Randolphicus...?
So I'll just come out and admit, I have a mancrush on Anthony Randolph. I love people who prove me wrong. As if I was standing right next to him when he was drafted holding up a sign "eat a cheeseburger you freak!".
Watching summerleague I had butterflies... you know the same type you get when you go to opening night and the Warrior girls are dancing all over your grill and dropin' it like its hot. Every play that man changes defenses. His length is ridiculous.
Lamar Odom? Are you watching? This is what Laker fans wishes you were like. His aggresiveness is so GS Warriors, its almost like Don Nelson had an encounter with Randolph's mom 19 years ago, and he is fullfilling his destiny.
Al Harrington is one of the best 6th men out there, but of course he will be starting this year. Randolph's production will be stupid large in what I suspect early on. If he gets to start, does Al go in the tank or embrace the roll? We would have a sick rotation if that happens ( of course assuming Randolph gets off to a good start ). If were going into games with 7 foot, 6 foot 11, 6 foot 8, 6 foot 7 and 6 foot 4, were one of the bigger lineups out there. Oh yeah turns out, they can all run like the wind ( Andris "Imustbreakyou" Biedrins has hands of glue, he gets a pass).. our rebounding problems are nearly erased...
So rebounding + 110+ points per game would be a crushing blow to any foe on any given night. Nelly has NEVER had a lineup like this. However, if Randolph gets the nod early on, we NEED Harrington on board. Tony we need a poster on Harrington 6th Man blah blah the greatest so we can boost his ego immediatly.
Good teams have an awesome starting 5, GREAT teams go deep into the bench. Lets go Warriors!
