On Fox Ruining My Saturday Afternoon
Men, women and most importantly children of A's nation: I am enraged.
Hey Skinny! Whoa. How many beers have you had? Like 4?
I had to start early. Fox's fault.
Wh- what happened? You should get some Visine.
So I wake up. Grab my shower. Throw down on some Eggos... your usual Saturday stuff. It's 1pm and time to relax on the couch and watch some baseball! I have MLB Extra Innings, so I am sure to find something. I flip over to a channel with today's tv schedule and notice that there are no games before 7pmEST. Distinctly remembering that the A's game started at 4 today, I began to cry. This lasted for five to seven minutes.
There's no crying in baseball!
You are right. I am ashamed.
So what next?
Well. I logged on to the MLB Extra Innings website to see if I could diagnose this problem. When reading through the FAQ, I noticed this little ditty:

I'm sheltered. 24 years of age and I've never been west of Minnesota. But alas! It is my time. I'm heading west, men and women of A's Nation. The plan is for my roommate (Red Sox fan) and I to be there for the opening series in Oakland. We're going to arrive Monday (Mar 31) and return Thursday (Apr 3rd).
The major hurdle at this point a financial one. I'm price-checking online and am not happy with the results. We're in Greenville, South Carolina and plan to fly out of Charlotte, NC. Airline ticket prices are falling at their lower boundaries at $330/person. I was hoping for around $270, but perhaps I'm woefully optimistic. So...
