Vikings Fan Clubs - Where you at?

So we did a story on the Arctic Vikings Club over at VikingsValhalla.com; and I wanted to put out a notice on DN to see if anyone else out there is attached to other Fan clubs?

We are trying to ffer a little slice of Valhalla to any clubs out there that want their own sub-site and their own message forum.... but more importantly we just want to see how far the reach is of the other fan clubs out there.

Peterson wins ESPY for Breakout Athlete

AP = AD and now AD = ESPY

Adrian Peterson WON the ESPY for Breakout Athlete during the taping on the 16th; so I now have a better reason to watch the ESPY's Sunday the 20th at 9 PM CDT on ESPN.

We have some photos over at VikingsValhalla also.

Its great as a Vikings fan to watch this guy play... I always use to laugh at how rookies need to "catch up" to the speed of the NFL.

Well; when it comes to AP; the NFL needs to catch up to his speed!

It's easy to see why the CBA died when it comes to the outrageous nature of these contracts; then some of these kids have the nerve to hold out for a better deal.

I'm glad Commish G is stepping up and addressing these issues head on.

Draft Day Questions?

There are so many questions and so many options surrounding the draft, it's hard to keep up.

Do the Vikes take a DE or OT, QB or WR?

How will the other teams drafting options change the face of what the "experts" expect?

Offensive Tackle Comparison

I've also wondered why Bryant McKinnie was so highly regarded and why this past season Ryan Cook always got a bad shake.

Mainly Cook just had his problems during the worst possible time he could have them. In those critical situations, which I think we can all contribute to lack of experience.

Cook can only get better, but McKinnie should be in his prime. I still don't feel he should be as highly regarded has he is and I defiantly think he was overpaid with this last contract. Speed rushers seem to own him.

Finally someone broke it down for me and showed the numbers and stats for what they truly are.

A fellow fan at my other home broke it down, and it's worth a read. I want to know what others here at the DN think after reading this topic or even this article.
