Royal Blue Mersey Pool want Moyes

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/media-watch/liverpool-plan-raid-on-moyes

Thats right. Liverpool, Evertons sworn enemy, want to make David Moyes the man to replace Rafa. As a huge Liverpool fan myself I just don't see it happening. Moyes is too loyal to Everton. If Liverpool could pull this off it would be huge though. I would probably be happy with Lippi or Eriksson. My dream involves Dalglish becoming the manager. Moyes is a great coach and would be second on my list behind Dalglish, but like Dalglish I just don't see it happening.

Stampede Blue The 1 waiting room. Predraft Chatter

By popular demand we have one thread for everyone. We're kinda chatting between threads here. Sooooooooo.....where is Big Ben going, if he goes. Will the Colts stay in the first round. Will we waste our time waiting for the Colts to draft only to see them trade back into the second day? The biggest question of all.....where will Tim Tebow be drafted and by whom????????????

Lets chat.

p.s. I want Jerry Hughes. I have a feeling we're going corner though. Time will tell

Pats Pulpit In the first round of the NFL draft, the New England Patriots select......

????????????

I'm seriously pretty clueless. Colts fan here. Stampede Blue is having a community mock draft and I got stuck volunteered to draft for the Patriots because I hate admire the Patriots. In fact Wes Welker is my favorite non-colt player. True Story.

Now lets see here. Team needs. Quarterback, Wide receiver, Running back, Tight end, Linebacker, Defensive end, Defensive tackle. Pretty much everything sooooooo lets start.

I say that you should trade Tom Brady and Randy Moss plus your 1st rounder to move up and take Sam Bradford. Tom Brady is finished and Moss is doggin' it. :D

Ok, ok. In all seriousness, I have heard rumblings about Jared Odrick, Brandon Graham, Brian Price, Dan Williams and Sergio Kindle (alot on Sergio Kindle).

So give me your thoughts and feelings. Your top 5's, your team needs and who you realistically think the Patriots will draft.

Lets keep this civil people.

Go Colts!

Stampede Blue Playoff Preview AFC

Heres how I see the AFC finishing, courtesy of Yahoo's playoff scenario generator.

 Kansas City 3-13-0 3-10-0 30 30

The Wild Card.

The 6th seed Broncos will play the 3rd seed Dolphins. This is a tough game but I see the Broncos winning this game.

In an AFC North division rematch the 5th seed Ravens play the 4th seed Bengals. Cincy ends the season on a low and it gets even lower here. They lose to the Ravens.

The Divisionals.

The Broncos head back to Lucas Oil Stadium, only this Manning doesn't throw a single pick. He dismantles the Broncos in the playoffs.

The Ravens meet the Chargers. This game is ugly. The Chargers come out on top.

The Championship.

In 2006 the Colts had to exorcise our Patriot demons to make it to he Super Bowl. This year the Colts exorcise their Charger demons as it should be. I welcome the Chargers. Colts win.

Stampede Blue Heres to "The Beard"

Clint "Class is in" Session, "The Teacher", "Papa Smurf". You can call him whatever you want. The fact of the matter is that Clint Session is a VERY important piece of our defense. Since his humble beginnings as a standout at Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida he has worked his way to becoming a pro bowl (yes pro bowl) caliber linebacker for our beloved Indianapolis Colts.

A fourth round draft pick out of the football powerhouse that is Pittsburgh...........

The Beard played in 13 games (starting 1) in his rookie season. He compiled 26 combined tackles, 2 interceptions and 1 forced fumble. All in limited playing time. Not bad for someone who is "too small", "not decisive or aware in pass defense" and "is easily blocked from the action." The Beard became a machine in his second season, a tackling machine if you will. In his sophmore season he started 15 games.  He totaled 94 tackles, good enough for 4th on the team  behind Bethea, Brackett and former starter Freddie Keiaho. He had 3 forced fumbles which was good enough for 3rd on the team, behind (yes you guessed it) Freeney and Mathis. The Colts knew they had found a player they could use to change our defense's perception by the MSM.

Here we are, 13 games into the season. Session has surpassed his tackle total this year and leads the Colts in tackles. He is seemingly everywhere. Always coming up with big stops on 3rd and 4th downs. A big reason that I believe is helping The Beard is our new found option to blitz opposing offense. The Beard or The Brack are usually the guys to do the blitzing and it has changed the face of our defense. Our bend but not break philosophy along with our "Blitz you when you want last years Colts D" (coined by myself, very original I know) has created this number 2 scoring defense. Number 2!

So I know you're confused. Let me break it down for you. Clint "The Beard" Session is a beast. Check. The Colts still have a great offense. Check. They also have the number 2 scoring defense in the league. Checkity, check, check check.

By all means he is not the only guy to turn this defense around. There are others and they will get their props too. He's just too hairy to ignore. This guy. I like this guy. Reminds me of that great linebacker who was also an assassin. I'm going to call this guy the Bearded Assassin because he has a beard and he's like an assassin.

Heres to a mainstay in our linebacker corps, Clint "Class is in" Session, "The Teacher", "Papa Smurf", "The Beard". You can call him whatever you want. The fact of the matter is that Clint Session is a VERY important piece of our defense.

Stampede Blue One of the Unknowns.

Little did he know while attending  Parkdale High School in Riverdale, Maryland that some day he would soon be a disturbing force in the middle of one the most passionate D-lines in Indianapolis Colts history. After a college career at Kent State where he ranked third in school history in sacks with 14.5 he ultimately went undrafted. A diamond in the rough. Signed by the Packers as a free agent in 2007 he played in only 3 games recording 8 tackles, four of them solo. Ultimately he was waived by the Packers before the start of the 2008 season. His career though had only just begun.

The Colts snapped him up to add depth to a small defensive tackle rotation. He played in 6 games in the 2008 season registering only 3 tackles and 1 pass defensed. Not exactly stunning stats. Muir was moved up and down from the practice squad occasionally but must have shown very positive signs of improvement for what was going to happen next.

The offseason came and went. Preseason had arrived. Daniel Muir played limited time in preseason starting 3 out of 4 games. He registered 4 solo tackles and 5 assisted tackles. Still he remained in the rotation.

The Colts started the regular season with 5 wins before their bye week. Muir did not start any of them. This was mainly in part to Ed Johnson (which is definitely another fan post for another time).  Ed was released and Muir became the starter coming out of the bye week. Since then he has had great games against St Louis, Baltimore and Denver. More important than stats though is his presence in the middle. Just him being there and letting the opposing team know that this defensive tackle is no push over is what this Colts team has needed. Our rush defense is 18th in the league in yards allowed (110.4). Muir is a big part of that. Muir surely won't break any tackling records. He might not even make a pro bowl. He is working towards the main goal like every Colt. The Super Bowl.

So his stats are good, not great. Some will say he's an above average defensive tackle. But the one thing the Colts do like about him is that he has the Colts attitude. Colts attitude= Classy on the field and Classy off the field. A recent article on Colts.com that can be found here shows how classy he really is. Reaching out to homeless teens and helping those who are less fortunate than himself shows that he does in fact belong to the Indianapolis Colts.

Daniel Muir along with the other great veterans and rookies on our defense have turned our defense into something to be feared. Heres to winning the Super Bowl on both sides of the ball. I'm so psyched for the playoffs.

Go Colts!!!!

Stampede Blue "FavreNation"

Ok, some of you may have heard of Sportsnation on espn. well I'm watchin it right now and they are all about Brett Favre. Trying to break a record or something. Well the question came up about who is better Favre in his hey day or Peyton Manning right now? Well the host Colin Cowherd is now my most favorite person in the world almost (he's second to Peyton Manning).

He looked the camera straight in the eye and told it like it is. Peyton Manning is flawless. (he may have had a pimple in highschool)

Peyton Manning is getting better with age and Favre is doing the opposite. Peyton will own the touchdown record.

To sum this post up Peyton > Favre.

Stampede Blue Peyton Manning

Peyton freakin Manning. The love of my life. The reason for the Colts greatness. He just threw for his 4th straight 300 yard game this season (first time in his career). FYI we've only played 4 games. As of right now he has threw for 1336 yards. It is really hard to believe that he will stay on this kind of pace.

1336 x 4=5344.

Is it really hard to believe he could throw for over 5000 yards even with our run game picking up?

Personally I think its not out of reach but he won't make over 5000. I'm thinking just over 4600.

What do you guys think about Blue Jesus? (yea I said it)

Stampede Blue 5 Points. Spying on the Enemy. Preseason Edition.

Our first preseason game is Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will be playing the Minnesota Vikings (in case you didnt know).

Some things that you need to know about our hated enemy (for this week atleast)

they know its not a certain number 4 who shall not be named.

they're predicting almost 1900 yards rushing for this season for AP alone. wow.

these beasts will test our o-line and addai/brown.

boy did we need that win

Percy "pothead" Harvin is a threat. Natural talent. Jasper Brinkley has a place in my heart being from S. Carolina. I will be watching him closely.

Last year I picked the Vikes to make the superbowl. But with a 10-6 record they made the playoffs barely and lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wildcard game. I'm still big on the Vikes and believe they just need some solid QB play to take them the distance (where the colts will stop them).

The guys over at Daily Norseman are awesome and the arguments with the Pack and Bears are intense. Head over there and Spy on the Enemy.

Expect more of these. (only if you like them. feedback appreciated)

Stampede Blue MtD on Colts Day 1

From Mockingthedraft.com
• A team that had a great draft was Indianapolis. While a receiver wasn't added, Donald Brown is now the team's best running back. Fili Moala gives them a difference maker in the middle.

My take.

Really? Donald Brown now the teams best running back? I know that alot of people here at stampedeblue argue endlessly about Addai and I'm here to start another one.

Addai is proven in this league already! He has been to a pro bowl and won a superbowl.

People look towards last season and say well "he sucked". The entire run game sucked! An o-line filled with rookies and depleted by injuries notably Jeff Saturday will surely make running the ball a chore no one could handle. While Addai did indeed have an off year last year, I fully expect him to be back to his regular self this year.

Donald Brown may prove to be the best running back EVER, but he may also prove to be a BUST (hope not). Joe Addai > Donald Brown until proven otherwise.

Daily Norseman Mock me (Not literally plz) :)

The Vikings are by far my second favorite team after the Colts. (I secretly love the color purple)

I volunteered to draft for the Vikings in the Stampedeblue.com mock draft.

Obviously you must draft a runningback??? Ok, I have no idea what you need/think you need. I believe you're all set at QB?? Maybe you need to draft a pair of star DT's?

So a list of needs/players you think the vikings will go after would be much appreciated.

please help meh

Big Cat Country Mock me (Not literally plz) :)

So I volunteered to present the Jaguars pick in the Stampedeblue.com mockdraft. If anyone would like to present a list of needs/players that jax will/might draft then please help.

I know the Jacksonville just release Matt Jones and I've seen alot of mocks where you take an offensive linemen. Do you see a wide receiver dropping to you or could you reach for one?

I hope you draft better than last year IRL :)

Please help

Mocking The Draft Question

I do love this site and love reading about the draft. I am a diehard Colts fan and love to hear about the AFC South and the AFC East (patriots obviously). All of the divisions have had pieces written about them except for these two. Is there a plan anytime soon to write something on these divisions? Maybe add an additional writer perhaps. I know its early but it is the offseason already and i am HUNGRY for some FOOTBALL!

Plz Mocking Dan. Pretty Plz

Stampede Blue Why Peyton Manning is better than (insert name here).

Jim Brown, The Great Johnny Unitas, Brett Favre and our very own Peyton Manning all have 1 thing in common. 3 time league MVP.

Drafted number 1 overall by the Indianapolis Colts in 1998, Peyton Manning has more than lived up to his draft status causing media everywhere to denounce his greatness.

In his rookie season he set 5 NFL rookie records including most TDs in a season by a rookie QB. In his second year he threw for 4,135 yards. In 11 seasons with the colts he has thrown for over 4000 yards 9 times missing the mark only in his rookie season and again in 2005 where he was sat to rest after the Colts had clinched.

Since drafting Peyton in 98, the Colts have had the highest conversion rate on 3rd down (44.6%) and 4th down (61.1%) plays out of every team in the league. When leading the Colts to their Super Bowl victory in 06, Manning set a NFL record by converting 56.1% of his 3rd downs in the regular season. Peyton Mannings passing is anything but ordinary. He currently leads the league in most "Perfect Passer Rating games" with 4. He career passer rating of 94.7 is ranked first among active quarterbacks and only 2nd all time (Steve Young).

In 2004, Peyton Manning broke the NFL single season passing TD record with 49 TDs which had stood since 1983. He broke the record while Edge rushed for 1500 yards and also did not play the following game where he could have indeed extended the record some more. IF he had extented his record then a certain QB would not have been able to break it on the last play in the last game of the season.

Anyways where was I? Peyton Manning of course. So I tell you Peyton Manning did this and did that and you say "He chokes in the playoffs etc etc". Well sir or madam, has your quarterback threw for 400+ yards in multiple playoff games and won them both? Does your quarterback have the highest quarterback rating in postseason 400 yard games? No he does not because only Peyton Manning does. Most Quarterbacks will never see a Lombardi trophy, so I say be grateful with 1.

Passers pass. Peyton passing is purely picturesque. Enough alliteration. Peyton has had 9 career 400 yard games passing. 2nd all time behind Dan Marino. 2 in the postseason tied for 1st.

So enough of all the fancy smancy stat crap. Peyton is the best not just because of what he does on the field but also off the field. Sometime after Peytons football career started at Indy, he created his own charity, The Peyback Foundation. This taken from Wiki "The Peyback Foundation's mission is to help disadvantaged kids, and focuses its efforts in Louisiana, Tennessee, and Indiana.[160] On September 6, 2007, St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis renamed its children's hospital to "Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent." Manning and his wife made a donation of an undisclosed amount to St. Vincent's and have had a relationship with the hospital since his arrival in Indianapolis."

Peytons passing is purely picturesque pretty much putting Peytons philathropy out the picture. Pity.

People don't see this side of Peyton when hes using his laser rocket arm to throw to Dallas and Reggie. Its rare to find someone who has alot of talent on AND off the field.

It could take me forever to name all of Peytons awards so Wiki will help here too.

Stampede Blue QB Coaching spot filled

From NFL.com

Link

"Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Frank Reich, who spent last season as an offensive team assistant, will be elevated to quarterbacks coach. Caldwell is still meeting with other staff members before debating whether to make additional moves."

Anyone know anything about Frank Reich? Also does Peyton really need a position coach. Yes Jim Sorgi needs one but isn't that Peytons job haha.

Lets hope he does the best job he can do with #18 and lil Jim.

Stampede Blue This is for shake (unrelated to colts)

I'm having internet problems so forgive me if i don't reply.

The SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS WILL BEAT IOWA!!!

There I said it. I wish I could see the game. When I saw the matchup I immediately thought of Shake. This fanpost is not even close to max words so I shall explain why we will beat them.

The Gamecocks defense is good, real good with the exception of the Florida game. Florida demolished everyone. We will not be starting Chris Smelley at quarterback. I swear to god if we do we will lose. He lost the Clemson game single handedly. We need to start Stephen Garcia. Garcia is good. He was one of the top 3 QB's coming out of highschool. He is a redshirt freshman and should start against Iowa. He tends to run too early but that can be fixed.

Shake, if the Gamecocks lose I will admit defeat. But I hope this turns out to be a good game.

Stampede Blue Peytons Top 25 Non Football Moments

Peyton has had many, many great football moments. He is also the most used NFL player in commercials (I made that up but it sounds right). When I googled Peyton Manning Commercials I saw just what I was getting into with this post. I decided to follow through because the world needs to see all these commercials again. These commercials (mostly commercials) are not in any particular order because you can't rank Peytons awesomeness. Here they are in no particular order:

This one is one of my faves, if you like 6 foot laser rocket arms.

Sprint

Can I get some one up here with enough chilli to fill up my bathtub? lol

Bush vs Manning

Shake it off Johnny, rub some dirt on it

Mastercard 1

You know I'm gonna do that. Weather here is sweet!

Mastercard 2

Cut that meat! Cut that meat!

Mastercard 3

DeCaf! DeCaf!

Manning makes Breakfast

Never saw this one until I googled. Pretty funny

Manning family PSA

Didn't see this until recently. These brothers are awesome.

Anything you can do, I can do better.

I love the priceless peptalks, especially this one. You feeling me, you love it.

This next one is not funny but gives you an insight into who Peyton is and how he became that person

RBK The Peyton Manning Policy

I had the next one on youtube but it was taken. So I googled it because it had to be included.

SNL Skit

ok, ok. So I saved my favorite for last. This is the funniest I have seen Peyton. You may disagree but when I first saw this I almost wet myself laughing.

NFL Fever 2003

So there ya go. Those are the 25 I picked. I love them all. Peyton is by far the best guy to use to sell anything! If I left any out that you want to add in the comments then feel free. I hope you enjoy this trip down Peyton Memory Lane. If any of the links are wrong then let me know.

GO PEYTON!!! AND GO COLTS!!!!!!!

Stampede Blue I can dream can't I???

Titans Schedule

@Jacksonville Jaguars--Jacksonville are getting back on track and last weeks close win against the Bears show that the Titans are beatable. Add in the fact that the Jaguars are at home and this could be Tennessee's first loss

New York Jets--Jets are not to be fooled with. Could go either way.

@Detroit Lions--Titans win obviously.

Cleveland Browns--They beat the giants. I hope the Titans sleep on them and lose.

@Houston Texans--Division matchup where the Titans will be looking ahead to the Steelers game but Houston will be focused on Tennessee. Titans win but it will be close.

Pittsburgh Steelers--Steelers are a great matchup for Titans. Steelers will cut out Kerry Collins and stop Lendale and Johnson. Steelers win.

@Indianapolis Colts--I predict Colts get revenge here, that is all.

11-5/10-6 (I can dream cant I?)

Colts Schedule

Houston Texans--We are coming off a big win and the Colts will be pumped. They win handily. i.e rosenfail is playing

@San Diego Chargers--This could go either way but the Chargers are playing worse than the Colts and almost lost to the Chiefs.Colts need every win they can get.

@Cleveland Browns--The Browns are so unpredictable. This could go either way and the Colts will be back in form. Colts win.

Cincinnati Bengals-- Lol Bungles. Colts win

Detroit Lions--Lol Lions. Colts win

@Jacksonville Jaguars--Colts get revenge and win.

Tennessee Titans--Same as above

12-4 / 11-5 (I can dream cant I?)

Stampede Blue Looking ahead

I wish to put in a request to our game watchers here (shake, bbs, mgrex) to keep an eye on Pittsburgh on MNF tonite (i know, i know....just put him on mute). We play Pittsburgh next weekend and it's a game we can win in my opinion. Big Ben has been sacked 23 times not counting tonight of course. I'm hoping Mathis and Freeney put alot of pressure on him.  I want to know just how good they are. Lets start looking ahead, one game at a time.

Pats Pulpit Deltha O'Neal

You signed him. I don't know which Deltha you're going to get. 10 pick Deltha or the bad one. He has fallen off since 2005.

You had two rookies in your top 4 CBs if i'm not mistaken. This should give you some veteran depth. I don't know much about your defensive backs or who is going to start and if Deltha even comes into the mix of starting.

Give me some info here guys. I like to have as much info as possible on rivals.

Peyton's not worrying tho ;)

Here it is

Stampede Blue QB's I enjoy watching fail.

Everybody has that QB that they love to se fail. Everybody! (say no and you're lying)

I personally have a Top 5.

1. Phillip RIvers - This guy is not as good as the so called experts make him out to be. End of story. He plays for the hated Chargers and gets nothing but love from NFL personnel around the league. He's a choker.

2. Vince Young - I don't "hate him" technically. I hate the thought of him. I hate the way he is defended by Titan homers even though he sucks badly. No accuracy. Just a poor mans Vick.

3. Tom Brady - I love to root against him. The so called "golden boy" of the NFL. Sure you can't deny he is good. But we love to see him fail because he is good. Yea I'm a hater.....what of it?

4. Billy Volek - Kicked the Colts while they were down. All I hear is "Volek beat you. Not Rivers! Billy freakin Volek!" I hate him for this. Played for the Titans AND the Chargers. See him backing up Brady next? There's multiple reasons to root against this guy.

5. Steve McNair - Again I think McNair the guy is a great person but I have hated the Titans for so long and QB=face of franchise. Does not deserve to be in HoF despite Titan Homers swearing up and down that he should. I really hope he doesn't make it there. The fact that he took (yes stole) half of Peytons MVP award got under my skin pretty much.

To sum up my point, I don't hate any of these guys. If any of these guys are playing then I root against them. If its Chargers vs Patriots then I want INT's all around or I will root based on my order here. Rivalry is a part of sports. I don't wish pain or suffering on either one, just extremely bad games.

I told you mine. Tell me yours.

Stay tuned for "Rooting for this guy not named Peyton"

Stampede Blue Shawne Merriman

This guy is a douche. A total douche. I'm not one to wish harm on anyone but he was told my 4 doctors that if he gets injured while playing with this injury then his career could possibly be over. As much as I hate this guy I would hate for him to end his career short.

He has decided to skip season ending surgery and play. If I was a Chargers fan then I would be super pissed about this. Why put your career at risk? The Chargers supposedly have a chance at a Super Bowl. They are not that good and beating a severely injured Colts team a super bowl contender does not make.

Advise ( altho it is too late) to Shawne. Take the Surgery!!

If the Colts end his career ( which I hope doesn't happen) then I will feel no pity for Shawne.

I guess you could say that it would be "Lights out" for Merriman and that he will not be a very "Merry Man." Ok, ok, ok, I'm done with that. :)

I would hate to beat the Chargers when they are not full strength, but I would hate it even more if a top caliber player has a career cut short.

Good luck Shawne, but not too much.......douche.

p.s. cant find a link, but I just saw it on *cough* espn *cough*

Stampede Blue My Madden Franchise

So I just got finished with my first official season in my Madden Franchise with the Colts. I went 12-4 using the Madden IQ for every game. The four losses didnt come against the teams you would of thought. Heres a recap of my season.

Wk 1 I beat the Bears handily 27-12.

Wk 2 Was a loss to the Vikings 14-20 I guess I was still getting used to my IQ level and I also found out the the running game is non existent for me. Record (1-1)

Wk3 I lost to the Jags :(. by the same score as previous 14-20. At this point I'm seriously doubting my skills and wondering will I make the playoffs (1-2)

Wk4 Bye

Wk5 I beat the Texans 17-10 to improve to (2-2)

Wk6 I lost my 3rd game this time to the Ravens 14-17. (2-3)

Wk7 I blew out the Favreless Packers 14-0 (3-3)

Wk8 I beat the Titans 17-14, one of many close games to come. (4-3)

Wk9 The Patriots came to the Lube and took the Lube into its first overtime game. Money won it for us (irony). 17-14 (5-3)

Wk10 My second blow out and against the Steelers no less. A whopping 24-0. (6-3)

Wk11 My second overtime game against our divisional rival Texans. Colts win with Money again. 13-10. (7-3)

Wk12 Also went into overtime against the Chargers. Stupid Chargers. I was up 10-0 in the 4th quarter. They came back 10-10. I got the ball first in overtime and I turned it over :( The Chargers were in Vinatieri FG range but I guess not Kaeding. I thought it was over. Gary Brackett returned INT 70 YARDS to win in OT. 16-10. (8-3)

Wk13 I blew up the Browns 31-7. (9-3)

Wk14 Snoozefest. Win over Bengals 14-10 (10-3)

Wk15 I lost to the freakin Lions. Why? I dont know! 7-10. (10-4)

Wk16 I got revenge against the Jags. 29-0. Multiple picks. Epic game. (11-4)

Wk17 Was even better. Beating up on VY. Multiple sacks and picks. Keiaho had 2 ints, 1 for a TD. Hayden had one for a TD. Also a safety :D 26-0 blow out. (12-4)

I was the number 1 seed in the AFC and clinched my bye.

In the Divisional Playoff I played the Pittsburgh Steelers. I dominated pretty much the entire first half and ran out the clock in the second half. I won 14-3. Had a pick by Keiaho and a pick by Sanders.

In the AFC Championship Game I played non other than the New England Patriots. Go figure. It was a close game. A very close game. Played in the Lube with no weather effects the Pats drove down the field for a FG. On my first possession I converted on 4th and 1 TWICE to keep my drive alive. Drive ended in a TD to Tamme. Pats responded and drove down the field with a TD also. Halftime was 10-7 Pats. I received the ball at half fime and proceeded down the field and threw a TD to my main man Harrison. Rest of the game was clock grinding and one Patriot turnover. End result 14-10 Colts win. To the Superbowl I go.

This is all I got for now. Will post about Superbowl and my players. Also I made a few changes to the team. Will post later.

Daily Norseman Colts play Vikings in Superbowl XLIII???

NFL Predictions anyone? I have take upon myself to live through the season. Thoughts and opinions?

AFC East-Patriots (duh go figure)
AFC North-Picking the Steelers to win it with Cleveland close behind
AFC South-Colts win division, Jags make wild card.
AFC West-Chargers win division, no one else close.

2nd wild card either goes to Cleveland or Houston(yes the texans). Tennessee will suck this year and nobody else challenges in the other divisions.

NFC East-Giants. Screw the "trendy" Cowboys pick. The Giants won the superbowl and are still getting looked over.WTH.
NFC North-Vikings. Packers without favre will end in the crapper. Can anyone name a quality starter on the Bears? LOL-LIONS!
NFC South-Saints. Many improvements by NO. Shockey on O and Vilma on D. TB has suspect qb and rb. Carolina is not great.
NFC West-Rams. Cripple fight anyone? Anyone can win this division. IF STL stays healthy and Jackson is Jackson then its theirs.

wild cards go to Cowboys and Eagles. 3 teams out of the East make the playoffs.

Playoff Ranking
AFC
(1) Patriots
(2) Colts
(3) Chargers
(4) Steelers
(5) Jaguars
(6) Browns (im leaning to them more)

Wild Card Games

(3) Chargers beat (6) Browns with relative ease.
(5) Jaguars beat (4) Steelers in a come from behind upset.

Divisional Games

(1) Patriots defeat the (3) Chargers in an epic game.
(2) Colts take care of the (5) Jaguars for the third time this season

Championship Game

(2) Colts and (1) Patriots as it should be take it to overtime and the Colts punish the Patriots secondary while the Patriots decide to pound the ball on the ground. Both teams exposing each others weaknesses. The difference being that the Colts strength is passing and the Patriots cant run the ball too well. Colts win Superbowl 42 1/2

NFC
(1) Giants
(2) Vikings
(3) Saints
(4) Rams
(5) Cowboys
(6) Eagles

Wild Card Games
(5) Cowboys get over the hump and beat the (3) Saints
(6) Eagles surprise everyone and take care of the (4) Rams

Divisional Games
(6) Eagles and mobile McNabb scramble about and defeat the (1) Giants in a close one.
(2) Vikings and Adrian Peterson run over the (5) Cowboys as T.O cries and Romo fumbles and Wade Phillips is fired. go figure.

Championship Game
(6) Eagles and (2) Vikings??? Are you kidding me? This is the Championship game? (2) Vikings keep up the form that got them here and again run against the (6) Eagles. Vikings make their first ever Superbowl!

Superbowl
(2) Colts play (2) Vikings for Superbowl XLIII
The battle tested Colts handle the Vikings in a thrilling game in which both teams have the lead. Colts have Superbowl number 2 in 3 years
