Kings fans here in Sacramento are happy to believe the charges by Donaghy about the NBA fixing the 2002 Kings-Lakers' series - what about the McC?

It seems like every time you turn around there's some questionable officiating calls usually benefitting the Lakers or some other large-market team...And then you have the inexplicable trades like Gasol going to the Lakers for next to nothing or its Ewing going to the Knicks in the lottery, etc. etc. not sure i believe Donaghy yet, but i think there's some funny business going on in the NBA....

This is probably heresy around here but im beginning to think that Jonathan Sanchez has passed right on by Matt Cain...their stats are very similar so far this year with a slight edge to Sanchez - it just seems that Sanchez continues to improve while Cain is stagnating and has been for quite a while.....most others on here know a lot more about this than i do, am just the avg. fan here, would like to hear other opinions on this....

He had some excellent outings in 2005 and 2006 as a starter...Esp. vs. St. Louis

and Milwaukee.....Why not another chance as a starter for him, especially now

with Correia and Lowry on the shelf?.....Beats the hell out of seeing more Zito i would

think and nobody at Fresno is really setting the world on fire right now.....I think he prefers

starting anyway, not sure if his stuff matches though....What say you?

If you like ESPN The Magazine or ESPN's The Insider, you can get 4 year subs.(104 issues) for $10.95 on E-Bay....am not a big fan of the magazine, but it looks like a subscription to ESPN the Magazine entitles you to free access to The Insider for those 4 years as well, which is pretty good deal for $10.95 total...

links:

    E-Bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ESPN-4-Year-Magazine-Subscription-FREE-SHIPPING_W0QQitemZ120207700419QQihZ002QQc ategoryZ82149QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

ESPN: https:/r.espn.go.com/espn/insider/renewtoinsider?campaign=INConversion&source=signup%20https:/ r.espn.go.com/espn/insider/renewtoinsider?campaign=INConversion&source=signup

(hope this is ok to post, i thought there were a few Insider fans on here)

Am fairly new to this site so if this has been discussed please forgive, but...

Last week on 680, i heard M. Urban trying to float
the opinion that part of the reason Joe Nathan was traded was that he had "worn out his welcome"..

Is this just an S-load of revisionist history?
