Big Blue View A thought that has been bothering me

Why was Belichek given a free pass on the most incredibly bad decision I have ever seen: allowing Bradshaw to walk through his D line to score a GO AHEAD TOUCHDOWN in the Super Bowl? I mean, what happened to 'they have to beat us to win'? BB never heard of a blocked FG? a bad snap? a bungled FG hold? If his O line holds and we dont score, the Pats are ahead by 3 and we have to hit the FG to tie (see above) ...now the Super Bowl is in overtime. It's anyone's game. Instead, he gave away the Super Bowl. He should be roasted slowly by the Pats....alive! Fired. Never to coach again. Can you imagine if Coughlin did that ????? OMG! NY would have his head on a stick. It makes no sense. Someone, please explain it to me. Oh, and BTW, thanks for SB 46 Bill :)

Big Blue View The Combine .. how well does it translate

into usable player? I don't have the means of checking, so maybe one of the guru's of the board might know: is performance in the combine an accurate indicator of how a player will do on the field? Is there a direct correlation between terrific combine stats and immediate ROI? because, if there really isn't a reliable connection between how a player performs in controlled situations vs how well that player ends up contributing to the PRO level team play, whats the point of it all? I mean, who cares how fast a 40 an interior lineman 6'5 300lbs can run... he's never going to run 40 yards at one time in a game. what would matter to me is how fast is he off the start say 0 - 5yds. the same can be said for any of the positions for what really matters to that specific skill need. Ya know what I mean? comments?

Big Blue View Turn Eli loose

In the olde days the QB used to run the offense.  We have seen him lead spectacular drives over and over when allowed to do so.  We all hate the predictability of Gilbride... so let Eli direct the offense from the field.  He is terrific at it and it can't get any worse than it has been.  I bet we would see some exciting football out of him. He's a throwback QB waiting to happen.

Big Blue View SS to the.... EAGLES???

JR why dontcha just shoot us in the head and get it over with.  this makes me sick.   now, let's calm down, take deep breaths... Boss 's brain can only take only so much more punishment before it goes all mushy on him; Smith may NEVER get back to speed and form, may be only somewhat productive by the end of the season and ties down a roster spot while he recoops, BUT FOR GAWDS SAKE... THE EAGLES???   my kishkes are in a knot.

Big Blue View ok ok ok... osi, prince, boss enough already

listen, enough about these guys. osi is a jerk; prince got some bad luck: hope you make it all the way back ok;  Boss is gone: Kev, sorry to see ya go, but ya know you only have 1 brain and yours has been taking a beating so put the football down while you can still string 2 words togehter without drooling.  Now,with that said. what is going on with Dodge vs weatherford?, tynes?, barden? Kiwanukas neck? ross? hixon? how is the O line coming together? special teams? what is going on with the rest of the team? or do I just not know where to look?

Big Blue View Mario Manningham making a lot of NFL GMs look dumb

Manningham, in a very short time, has shown remarkable concentration, ability to get the ball and keep even after a hard fall.  He can juggle footballs on his back and probably leap tall buildings in a single bound if he has a mind to.  He is the perfect compliment to Smith, Boss, Nicks and Hixon.

Once the receiving corp is back together, opponents will have no idea who they should double up on ... SOMEONE will always be in single coverage and Eli is way sharp enough to find them.

So fellow Giants fans, lets keep it simple and dignified:  THE MANN
