This has nothing to do with the Bulls, but I'm a huge Gus Johnson fan and this is just hilarious..

Blog a Bull Why Kirk Hinrich will be fine

Can you spot the outlier in the plot below?

(Hint: I circled it for you)

I think it's safe to assume that November 2007 was an aberration.  He never came close to shooting that badly in a month before or after.  Based on his consistent shooting in every other month, it seems unlikely that he will repeat such a dismal performance again.  Without that month, Hinrich's shooting didn't really drop off much last season.

Blog a Bull usa/china

anybody watching the game?

my question is... why are the chinese guys all so skinny?  don't they realize that they need to hit the weights?  if any one of those guys really fell in love with the weight room, he could dominate the cba, if not the nba (yi, i'm talking about you).

china is showing some potential early, but they're going to get beaten down.  i think hinrich would be the muscleman of the team if he was from china.

Blog a Bull Deng

I know a lot of people here are really high on Deng and think he has the most star potential out of everyone on the Bulls.  But, during the playoffs, Deng disappeared and the big three became, Hinrich, Gordon, and Nocioni.  Deng has a lot of talent, but he seems to break the offensive flow with quick jumpshots.  If anyone should do that, it's Gordon, not Deng.

That being said, Deng is a good slasher when he's not chucking up contested jumpers.  He is also a big, long, quick perimiter defender who, combined with Nocioni's strength and toughness, gives the Bulls great defensive depth at SF.

So what do you think of his future?
