I have always loved sports, but over the last few years I have really been narrowing my true passions to baseball and college football. I have been a Rockies fan since day 1, however it was hard to leave my team growing up, which was the Detroit Tigers. For awhile I had an AL team and and NL team, but now I just follow the Rockies. I will always have a small place in my heart for the Tigers, but the Rockies are my passion when it comes to sports, that and my beloved Wolverines. I love the minor leagues as well, and spend too much time following our prospects. Its hard to really pick a favorite player, but Tulo, since I played SS and 2B in high school, and I love his attitude, he would be right up there. I have also been following Stewart since he was first drafted and I really loved everything I read about him and even listened to some of his minor league games on the radio online, so it would be one of those 2.
I love following college football as well, and when baseball is over I spend a lot of time on rivals and scout and follow the recruiting classes, of course Michigan's most of all. I can't wait to see RichRod take us back to the promised land. Michigan football and Rockies baseball are the only 2 teams that can actually ruin my day w/ a loss.
I spend most of my time w/ my family and extended family, but every once in awhile I like to share the joy and pain w/ other fans. And when things get really bad there is nothing that spending a little time in front of Dumb and Dumber can't fix. I have to say that I even fell more in love w/ the Rox when I found out how many Christian guys were on the team, that may not be a popular thing to say around these parts, but its true. Can't wait for our first WS.
