So i'm driving down I-80 on my way to Iowa City on 8/31/11. I come across 1040AM and its Hawkeye Nation(Hawk Talk) with Gary Dolphin and Kirk Ferentz. Gary says the lines are open and to call in for a question to Kirk Ferentz. I figured this was a rerun or no lines would be open, but i'm bored and just driving i call the number for shits and giggles. Well, to my surprise i get through and i'm able to ask him a question. Can someone please tell me how to get the podcast for that show on 8/31/11? I think i deserve a BHGP T-Shirt as i'm sure i've gone where no man has gone before and god damit i deserve to be recognized!!! (That was a shot at you Ross/Patrick/Jacobi and i'm not afraid to say i said it first!!!)

Would love any and all information on great things to do in Iowa. Traveling will be my girlfriend, son (1), and me. I have not friends in the state as i grew up in Arizona. Would love to meet/tailgate with some fellow FOTP's. We will be flying in to Omaha, NE and working across the state so any sites and places to go please let me know. Again, we have nobody to tailgate/pre game with so would love if someone here would invite us to party with some fellow Hawkeye fans.

I'm reaching out to fellow BHGP faithful in hopes of finding 2 tickets to the Iowa vs Pitt game on 9/17. I will be traveling back to visit family in Iowa. It will be my G/F first visit and as she is a converted Hawkeye fan we wanted to take in a game while in town. I checked Stubhub and the prices for the tickets with the locations seemed a bit high. Please advise of any alternative avenues to getting good seats. I hope someone on here can reach out to me and get the tickets to the game as it will be her first ever and she's excited. I have not seen Mizz play this year. I have seen some other Big 12 teams play however and maybe i'm the minority but i'm not impressed. What makes you think you have a chance? We are w/o a starting running back and wide receiver and i'm still not scared. I'm positive we control both lines of scrimmage and win by 10(which for us is a blowout) Your coach was dead on trying to avoid us before, and he'll wish he could on the 28th.  I'll be at the game, who is coming from this site and what do you expect? Anyone interested in going to an Iowa practice? I heard they're practicing at Corona Del Sol High School? I can't till Sat/Sun because of work, anyone know times of the practices? Interested in going, i live in Tempe so i'd like to see them practice in person and maybe get a picture with Ferentz or have Clayborn/Stanzi with my new son. Also, who is having tailgate setups? I don't go to any of the bars for the games so its just me and a buddy and any tailgate/bags set up we'd love to join before we put the smack down on Mizz. So much for Bulaga being all world. I thought this guy was superman and Brandon Graham(who by the way is pretty good) had his way with him. Maybe this is the best thing that could of happened and will lead to him staying another year? Not to put it all on Bulaga as the line as a whole looked soft and didn't get much push against a defense that was undersized ailbiet athletic and fast. I hope this lights a fire during film this week and the line becomes the strength Iowa thought/needs. That being said great win and Michigan is a good bowl bound team. I'm hoping that the way we got gashed on the ground is a product of the spread and Norm choosing to take away the pass and allow the run. If not i don't know if its the linebackers or size of or d-line but the Hawks got run all over on Saturday. If it was the that Norm opted to give the run and take away the pass why was that same stradegy still implemented when Lil Wayne came in the game? Stewart Mandel has Iowa as overrated yet still set to play Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl? Do you think he's seen a minute of Iowa football this year? Also, do you think Virgina Tech is as good as he and everyone else thinks? Yeah they beat the U and barely beat Nebraska. Alabama is they're only loss, do you think Alabama would score 17 on us?
