Baltimore Beat Down Ray Rice needs to demand more MONEY.

I hate to say this, but it may be more so, than any other player since Emmit Smith sat out the first few games in the early 90's. I came across a link to the salaries of 2009 Ravens Salaries. It is laughable. Ray Rice may hurt his image a bit to pull this off, but what RIGHT IS RIGHT. There are only 2 ravens in my opinion that are worthy of more dough than RICE. Joe Flacco and Ray Lewis. Ravens management knows this, but do you think they are just going to give it to him. I think not. Check out the list and LAUGH WITH ME. The punter made more $ than Ray Rice. RAY RICE, GO GET YOUR DOUGH, YOUR ARE WORTH IT.  http://www.sportscity.com/NFL/Baltimore-Ravens-Salaries

Baltimore Beat Down Jim Zorn Hired. Another bad decision. Who made that one?

Ravens starting to make some bad moves. Excuse me, not starting, just continuing. Let me run down a few you may or may not remember. Deon Sanders. That was a joke. Steve Mcnair over Drew Brees. Yes ravens fans, Drew Brees was available the year we went with Steve Mcnair. (RIP) Wouldn't we like to dream if we had gotten Brees. Im sure Ray had something to do with that. And most recently, Not giving Rex Ryan head coaching job. Yes I believe that was a mistake. Of course Matt Stover. Pretty obvious there. I believe Ravens are going backwards with the management and or coaches. I hope I'm wrong. Only time will tell with Zorn. BUT I DON"T LIKE IT!!!!!!!

Baltimore Beat Down How about Trent Dilfer for QB coach for Flacco?

Anyone else like this idea. I think he would be great. I am sure he would be interested. I think Flacco would love it. A Quarterback of today and not someone from generations ago. I think Dilfer coming back to Baltimore would be ideal for both sides. Come on Ozzie and Harbaugh. CALL DILFER. Give him an interview. See if he is interested. Do something right. Geez wont let me publish unless I keep writing,

Baltimore Beat Down Worst loss in franchise history.........I believe it is.

With so many chances to win this, this I believe is the worst lost in history of the Ravens Franchise. With so much riding on this game and so many missed chances. This is even worse than the playoff lost to the Colts in 2006. This is not good for confidence. I see 3 more loses. Why? We can't win close games. 2 with Pittsburgh and 1 at Green Bay. 3 more likely losses and that is 8-8. Can we say Disaster of a coaching season.

Baltimore Beat Down Someone should be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was the worst play calling on offensive I have ever seen. I would rather see Flacco call the plays. PATHETIC. They deserve to lose this one. CAM CAMERON HAS GOT TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MCGAHEE SUCKS. WERE AFRAID TO PASS. PLAY NOT TO LOSE. LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEFENSE PLAYED GREAT AND OFFENSE LOOKED LIKE THE BROWNS. SCARED OFFENSE = BIG TIME LOSERS. OFFENSE PLAYS BEST WHEN THEIR BEHIND. IT IS THEN AND ONLY THEN WHEN THEY OPEN IT UP. I HOPE THE SORRY RAVENS SEE WHAT MCGAHEE IS. A BUMB. WHY DO THEY GIVE BALL TO HIM ON GOAL LINE. FIRE SOMEONE FOR THAT ALONE...............

Baltimore Beat Down How can we beat Peyton Manning?

On Paper we can't. Plain and simple. But since we have to play them anyway, lets break it down. The first thing I would do as a Defensive Coordinator is TAKE REGGIE WAYNE OUT OF THE GAME. I have an idea of how to do that. Double team him the whole game. That being said, we do not need Foxworth covering him. If we are double teaming him the whole game, then lets do it with Fabian and Reed or Webb. Let Foxworth take their number 2 one on one. Dallas Clark another one of Mannings Favorites. I like the idea of Ray Lewis jamming him at the line of scrimmage. Beating him up in Laymans terms. All game long. We need our best on their best. Lewis can blast Clark. Beat the living daylights out of him. Althoug I doubt Ravens will use Ray this way, but I would like to see it.  Ladarius Webb should be in there on every play. We are going to need a big game from him.  Remember Indy is a pass first team. They strike first and we are in trouble. Now another question. Can we get to Manning with our pass rush. The answer: NO................. Indy has one of the best lines in the business. And our pass rush is not good. (do not count the Clevland game) We may get a sack or two, but I doubt we will pressure him that much. So If we can take the pass out of Manning and turn them into a running team, Maybe we have a chance. But that is our only chance. And may be a slim one at best.

Baltimore Beat Down Suggestions for Cam Cameron...........

The last two games I noticed Ray rice getting hit in backfield quite often. I also noticed no Leron Mcclain in there at times. Why is are 265 lb. fullback not in there setting the lead block. My god. Rice needs a lead blocker like Mcclain. I also had an Idea of this. Listen closely. Ray Rice in the slot. Mcgahee in the backfield along with Mcclain. Clayton and Mason as the wideouts. Todd Heap tighend. My goodness. How would that look to opposing defenses. How about some trick plays. Flea flicker. End around. Option. Can any of are halfbacks throw the ball? Are offense has been too predictable. I would like to see Ravens first possesion not even run the ball. I mean throw, throw, throw all the way down to the red zone. Then punch it in. Joe Flacco needs to look for Kelley Washington more. I'll give you a tidbit stat. Kelley Washington has 25 receptions this year. 20 of the 25 have been for first downs. Thats money people. Flacco needs to go to him more. Any one know Washingtons speed. Is he a deep threat. Clayton and Mason can rarely get behind a DB. Can Washington? Cant remember Flacco going to him deep all year. OK thats all for now. Love to hear some comments.

Baltimore Beat Down Denver reminds me of Ravens Last Season...........

Great Defense, Quarterback asked to manage the game, and a pretty good running game. I knew Kyle Orton could not beat the Ravens. It just rarely ever happens. Average quarterbacks just do not beat the Ravens. I think maybe the Ravens got a little big headed the first couple of weeks. I mean being ranked first or second in the Power Rankings. I know they lost to good opponents. But I believe they were overconfident and that led to a few losses. Now, they realize that you must play with that intensity against everyone, including Browns, Lions, and Raiders or you may just slip up. (just ask the Eagles?)

Baltimore Beat Down Why the Ravens will beat Denver........

If you have followed the ravens over the last decade, they have always struggled with the elite quarterbacks. Peyton Manning comes to mind first. Tom Brady, Carson Palmer and a few others for a day. Jake Dehlomme, last year. My point is, the very stong arm Quartebacks that make pinpoint throws seem to carve up our secondary. Even the good teams with pretty good quartebacks. Chad Pennington last year, Donovan Mcnabb, Tony Romo, and even Kerry Collins who slowly picked us apart could not sling the ball into tight spaces through our secondary. Ok. Where do we rank Kyle Orton? Middle of the pack at best. I do not believe Kyle Orton can beat the ravens. Yes they are 6-0. But that surley isnt because of Orton. I think Orton will throw at least 1 pick, maybe 2. When the ravens win the turnover battle, Who Wins? Arent the Ravens like 70-5 when they win to battle? Therefore I see Ravens Winning. 24-16

Baltimore Beat Down Ray Rice = Best playmaker in NFL.

I think the Ravens finally figured out what they have in Ray Rice. A dynamic NFL playmaker. Please give the ball to Rice 20-25 touches a game. I have been saying this to friends for weeks. Sorry Willis, Your pretty good, but you are not Rice. I would also like to see Rice lined up more in the slot. He is a receiving threat like no other back in league, except maybe, Tomlinson. I think also Ravens need to run the Hurry UP offense more. I see a Indy type offense when they do. Personal mistakes. Biggest offseason mistake. JIM LEONARD. WE MISS YOU.
