Never thought I'd say this but Rudy needs to go ...
I understand that he had a tough year due to his injury, the other injuries forcing the rotations to have to change, not having Sergio on the team both on and off the court, the loneliness and all of that leading to a lack of confidence after an awesome rookie year. I have my own issues with Nate (can we have just a little bit of the fastbreak just to shake things up a bit?) but overall he's done amazing things with the team given the circumstances this year and managed to get the Blazers to the Playoffs despite the odds. But, saying that Nate promised him a bigger role and never delivered is the last straw. I'm sure Nate would've loved to have had Rudy play as well as he can (and he can be amazing) so he would've had to keep him on the court but he didn't. I mean, he gave him lots of chances but in the end, the point is to win the game so if Rudy wasn't bringing it then he needed to put someone it who would. Nate spent a good part of the last half of the season defending Rudy and this is the way Rudy repays him? Someone needs to have a good talk (yell) at Rudy and wake him up to what he's doing, but chances are if I'm sick of it that both Nate and KP are really sick of it.
I hope Rudy gets to a team that will really play to his strengths and he'll do well. I'm still rooting for Spain in the Worlds and will probably go to see the game that whatever team he ends up on is playing here (root for the Blazers but hope to see him do well also) but I just don't want him on this team anymore. I kinda feel like a parent who's disappointed in their child but still loves them anyway ... it's the only way I can describe it.
