There was not much good mojo in the system Monday night.  Aaron Thompson and his 4-13 record have been one of the largest disappointments in the system. Acquired for the discerning eye of Nick...

JZim Dominant; Federal Baseball Cheated; Upper Minors Thread from 8/20

With all of the fail last night, it's somewhat bearable because Jordan Zimmermann was absolutely dominant in what we hope is final start for Syracuse. His line: 5IP, 0R, 1H, 1BB 5K. Sounds like the...

Espy awards ball to right field seats; Senators and P-Nats Win; Upper minors report 8/14

Syracuse is struggling for offense. Down 2-1 with two outs things looked rather bleak. But Boomer Whiting, pest supreme, worked a walk, stole second, and advanced on the throwing error to second...

Solar Power: Ramos goes Yard; Upper Minors Report 8/11

Batting Stance Guy's Impression of the Nats.

He goes through the whole Nats lineup on the day of a Livan Hernandez start. Only guy missing is Willingham, who was getting a day off. Instead you get Livo and Ray Knight. I haven't laughed this much in so long. Funny, funny junk. Kudos to Doghouse for linking this in the gamethread during Livo's start against the Diamondbacks tonight.

Souldrummer is crashing the Red Reporter meetup at Momo's tonight

8

In a tough call between the Nat Pack in Penn Quarter and representing to the Reds fans (and Nats fans reportedly) who will be at Momo's on U St. tonight, I have picked Momo's on the 1300? block of U St. Should be there around 6:00-6:30 in Natstown grey and P-Nats hat. Mostly, just posting to say that I'll be with you in spirit tonight and that trying to put my fandom where my mouth his. If any of you hit the offical watch party with Clint and the Nat Pack in Penn Quarter (can't remember where it is but I heard a radio ad for it), let me know how it goes. I went last time in Arlington. 2 serious fans to a bunch of hangers on who were probably local wanderers in. Did win free tickets underneath the scoreboard pavilion, though for what it's worth. Hope you all are well and hopefully Strasburg will back up his rep with a strong road showing tonight. My prediction, 6IP, 2R, 7K, 2BB, 98 pitches.
