I know its a little early but i feel like everybody needs something to help pass the time till Oct. comes along. so i figured we should have a SCH FH league... its on ESPN its a 12 team league... e-mail me at d.good@me.com if you want to be apart of this... again it will be all SCH folks so it should be good time. plus it will give us another avenue to make fun of each other at... and about... So i just moved down to phx about a month ago from chicago, after celebrating the stanley cup. and need to fill my hockey fix. So i decided to jump on your bandwagon since well... i live here now, i think u guys have a great young exciting team who will do very well for the foreseeable future. so if you don't mind a hawks fan jumping on board i would love to join up. except i will always be a hawks fan first, and wont change the user name. lol sorry. 

Also great work with the "Throw the Snake" during the playoffs and still believe with Doan didn't get injured u guys beat Detroit.

i know people were talking about wanting one of these so we don't completely destroy the GDT and have something else to do before our game outside of talking about Star Wars, Meeshak being too bored, and a place to help each other pull the knife out of each others back after finding out Chris Burton and OtF is rooting for the sharks. Well here you guys go. Lets see if we can a game worth watching this time.

So I know there has been some talk in some recent threads with people wanting to have another meet-up for Game 1 of the Campbell Conference semi-finals. And I figured that it would be easier to discuss this through a Fanpost instead of it being spread out through out a bunch of random daily threads. So here we go... Lets decide who, where, and when we want to meet up.

LETS GO HAWKS!!!!

So i was out in Naperville at the Grumpy bulldog a watering hole that me, sapper16, and hjammer of the gods go often when i go back to the burbs. around 11:30 a huge group of people walk its Molly Schaus and a bunch of friends. she was the goalie for the U.S. Womens Hockey team. They were having a "Molly Schaus day" like Evan Lysacek had in naperville a few weeks back. Anyway so she walks in wearing her team U.S.A. jacket on and the SILVER MEDAL she won. as she walks in the owner of the bar gives a glass of champagne out to everybody in the bar and we are start a huge USA USA USA chant. after the champagne and chant she takes a few pics with people and also allows people to wear the medal take a picture if wanted. That is where i came in and jumped on the opportunity. A few things about the medal 1. the waviness of it doesn't look as bad up close as it did on T.V. 2. the medal is surprisingly heavier then you think it would be. 3. wearing it was proberly the best moment of my life.

I know Sam and company said they will have threads for all the U.S. games but where should we go to discuss all the other events and all the other times the U.S. breaks the hearts of the other countries? Just because the Hawks are on a 2 week break doesn't mean we need a 2 week break from each other.  I'm thinking this thread will be a good place to talk about all other Olympic stories so here we go... We just beat out a Canadian to win another gold in Snowboarding... U.S.A. U.S.A. U.S.A. (sorry hawks and our other fellow Canadian hawks fans)
