Buffalo Rumblings Have you built your Bills-Board yet?

Mock drafts, fun as they are, I think miss the real excitement and pressure of a GM. It fascinates me how simple and difficult the GM job can be. As Buddy said last year, we list out our top 3 players, and whichever one is left we take. This year, its a list of your top 10 players. The highest one left is the one you take. So simple right?

So I tried it. And its more difficult than you think. I'm listing my board below. I'm not looking for feedback, I really don't care what other people think of it, I'm no scout. But I suggest you try it for yourself. Its difficult to decide, IN ORDER, the top 10 players to draft. It's not the order I think they'd be taken in the draft, but the order that I would take them if they were available to me at 10. I'm anxious to cross off the names as they go and see who I have left and who Nix drafts.

MY board:

1. Luck

2. Griffin

3. Kalil

4. Claiborne

5. Gilmore

6. Blackmon

7. Kuechly

8. Barron

9. Richardson

10.Cox

Then if I traded down I would take:

11. Reiff

12. Kirkpatrick

13. Glenn

14. Ingram

15. Tannehill

We all know the Bills love knee injuries, with 10 players on IR just with knee injuries last year. This report is on how the chance for knee and ankle injuries is greater on fields of Field Turf vs grass. The Bills don't play home games on Field Turf, rather they play on AstroPlay. AstroPlay wasn't included in the study because there have not been enough games played on it.

I can't find the actual published study yet to see if a player is more likely to be injured if their home field is Field Turf or if they are on a visiting team unfamiliar with it.

Per Mark Gaughan:

"Bills coach Dick Jauron did not dismiss the idea that second-year tackle Demetrius Bell could push starting left tackle Langston Walker for a starting job when asked about the issue Monday."
