The last few Junk Drawers have been classic

I have nothing even remotely that clever to offer but over 2000 comments is over 2000 comments and somebody has to do it.In a preview of my announcer ratings i have the Bucks,Pistons,Clips and NY crews near the top,the Celtics,Hornets,Jazz and Thunder guys are the worst. As far as network guys,Hubie is the best,Reggie Miller is the worst and Eric Snow is the best studio analysis guy.Any thoughts or input?

I am pulling an all nighter staying up for the Leoniod light show, excellent viewing conditions and it is getting better

I normally would not even bother posting something so trivial but the old JD crashed [is dead to me]and I am doing my best to stay awake so I am hoping that someone will find this beacon of junk in the dark and help me out here.I hope everyone has noticed just how much of an abject failure the Blazers are,a measly 4 out of 5 on the road?really? We suck pretty bad and should just concede the season in hopes of getting lucky in the lotto, feel free to put this in a block quote in the next game thread.an 8 and 4 start is just not going to get it. Good luck PA,a good musician friend has been dealing with the same thing for 6 or 7 years and still has enough energy to play me into the ground.

The JD has been getting pretty loose lately about posting a new one any time it gets full

what we need is a more rigid, structured rotation with an 8 blogger rotation. A brief rant about the NCAA suits, the 2 game suspension of MJ's son was dumb but the 20 game suspension of the Turkish kid on the WV team redlines the lame meter,he played in a a Euro game with a professional, really?? I am glad that Brandon Jennings is playing so well and poses such a threat to the NCAA empire, hahaha.I am also pleased with the current winning streak, hahahaha

Geography quiz,

Where have you lived or been that you would like to go back to visit or live? Where have you lived or been that you never want to see again? What NBA city is the least desireable place to live? What NBA city[besides Portland] would be the most desireable? I am scratching to make my minimum word quota, this is a test ,you can take it pass/fail or for grade but remember I don't just hand out A's

This has been educational getting used to other teams homer announcers

For example I got the Utah feed for the beat down at home by the mighty Kings, hahahah. So far the Boston mouthpieces seem to be overall the worst but its still not a complete sample.

Who do you think has it together as an announcer and who is your least favorite[hate is such a strong word]?

The Grizz homers[have no shame?] are very delicatly dancing around the Iverson tumor and the fact that they are up by 5 on the road at half with out HIM

I like the Suns and and Mavs guys, love Clyde but he is pretty poor as a talking head,as far as the net work guys Hubie and Van Gundy are pretty good most of the other ones are repeating the same obvious thing that they said before.Feel free to discuss the local homers

Beauty weather today if you like the 70 in the sun yet cool in the shade kind of thing.

The forcast is for a week of the same,if you live above the fog[smiles] life is sweet.I want to talk about staying in shape and why are some guys so durable ,I threw with the frisbee crew today and it feels pretty cool to still have some game. Well I really dont have any more filler so in a departure from normal JD protocal will say something about Basket Ball. Rudy is showing real signs of becoming a competent defender,Travis is rebounding and Martell is just going to get better so things could be worse. So the topic is what is with guys like Steve Largent or Steve Nash or Dre being injury proof in violent contact sports when most players get hurt all the time?

I am still getting used to having all the games

I have been hanging out in the game treads of some other teams I like Suns,Bulls,Kings and Magic. any body have a favorite or least favorite[hate is such a strong word] other blog site? This is a transparent attempt to come with enough verbage to get a new JD up. Also discuss any ideas we can come up with and implement our selves to improve the way things work around here. Would a Sat. Fantasy players thread be worth a try? Is this 75 words?

I agree with Tom that a topic in a JD is becoming obsolete

People make a few polite comments and then just shine it on and talk about whatever they want anyway. In the interest of typing 75 words, maybe no topic is a good thing,it might encourage people to be more creative.Just imagine if every one had a topic? Consider this last sentence to be just meaningless drivle with no subject or merit what so ever to fill the word quota.

This is not a JD

I want to open a discussion about the amount of traffic on the site before the season starts and it takes another quantum leap,Dave and Ben have the other SBN blogsters amazed at what they have done here in terms of quality and traffic.so when I got home the JD was up to about 1400 and impossible to load, any thread over 1000 is pretty much dead to me,I like the JD and miss it. would it work to just have an informal agreement that some one start a second JD every 1000 or so?I cant be the only one with this problem.

The site has been difficult lately

I want to thank all the nerds and nerdetts that help out the tech challenged but I have wasted hours in the last few days just trying to reply in the JD and game threads.I know some folks will tell me to just spend long $'s on more broadband width but I just spent $160 on league pass and dont have the extra money hanging around.so what is with the jumps back to 7:00 am at random times every afternoon and I have to close every thing and maybe I can get back to the JD,maybe not,is it just my ignorance or do other people have problems too?and another thing that pisses me off,I tried to do a poll and it told me I am an ignorant old fool, discuss
