Hey there, are finals over yet? Looking for the scoop on La. Tech and our bowl game. I'm still shocked by this, but we'll take it!!! After the loss to Navy, I did not think there was any chance at all. It still seems odd that the two best NIU teams in history, 2003 and 2005 NIU did not make a bowl game. With that hope all is well and I'm looking for some inside info. Maybe sometime we can have a discussion if our basketball team will ever be good again.

The White Sox are poised to put the Joe Crede era behind them and become players in the first big acquisition of the offseason.

Agent Jaime Torres was informed by Major League Baseball on Friday that Cuban prodigy Dayan Viciedo has been cleared to be a free agent.

Let the bidding wars begin for the 19-year-old third baseman.

Bowl Possibilities

Great job, with this site. Huskies alum from 1993. What is your take on the Huskies bowl prospects. I think that if we go 3-2 the rest of the way, we will finish 7-5 and should get a bowl bid, but I'm not sure about all of the MAC tie-ins etc.....Does anyone else have any knowledge as to what the bowl chances are for the Huskies. Also, I'm pretty impressed with Coach Kill.
