I am a junior at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MIchigan. I am working towards a Marketing degree and look to possibly attend MSU or Wayne State for a masters degree in Sports Administration. My dream job would be to work in collegiate athletics, preferably in ice hockey. I would like to work at MSU, the CCHA or any other opportunity that presents itself. I have played ice hockey for over 15 years and have had season tickets to MSU hockey games ever since I was born. My favorite Spartan ever was Bryan Adams a forward who played with such NHL players as Mike York, and Anson Carter. Other favorite Spartans of mine include York, Mike Weaver, Jon Insana, Joe Blackburn, Justin Abdelkader, Jeff Petry and Joey Shean. My second favorite sport besides college hockey is college football and I am very excite about where Mark Dantonio and where he is taking the Spartan football program. With he and Rich Rodriguez this state will be great for college football and I believe the MSU-UM rivalry will become relevant again. GVSU where I attend school is an athletics dynasty school. The year before I arrived on campus every athletics program, both men and woman made their version of the NCAA postseason. The football team has won 4 national championships since 2002. I strongly believe within 25 years GVSU will be a D1 University and will include both Mens and Womens varsity hockey programs. They will destroy Western Michigan for this side of the state.
