Hello Everyone. I am heading to the 2011 British Open on Friday night and will attend moving day and the final round!!! Woo hoo! I couldn't pass on this opportunity, especially since I passed up on making the trip to the 2010 Ryder Cup. You see, I've been living in Germany since September 2010 for work. And I've been playing golf since I was about 10 years old. Well, I didn't start getting "serious" about it until I was 13. Details. I've attended numerous golf tournaments, most notably the 2004 and 2010 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits. I've also attended the Western Open and Greater Milwaukee Open. You may not recognize those tournament names since corporate dollars have stolen their identity, and the GMO is no more.

Anyways, is anyone else that reads or writes this blog attending the 2011 British Open? It would be cool to have a Waggle Room meetup and perhaps enjoy an English ale together.

Another thing -- as an American I want to show my pride at the event. Anyone know where or how to get my hands on a ridiculous American hat, jacket or just a good 'ol Stars 'n Stripes flag? Mind you, I am in Germany and will be driving through Netherlands, Belgium and France finally coming up from under the sea in Folkestone, England. If anyone knows how to get my hands on some American threads at or near Royal St. Georges, I'd be a very happy individual.

By the way, I'm pulling for my home boy Stricker this weekend to finish off the John Deere on top for the third year in a row. Who knows, maybe he can carry over the great play to next week!

I must say, WOOOOWWWWW. This man is relentlessly... incredulous. Just when you think it's all over he has to jump right back onto his high horse back into the NFL.

Part of me thinks he was jealous of the media attention Vick was garnering and had to one up the dog fighting kingpin of the world. He saw Vick on 60 Minutes on Sunday night and was like, "Hey, I can do better than that. I'll show you, Mr. Vick."

OK, sorry for the rant. I had to get it off my chest.

Now, will you target Favre in your fantasy league? If so, what is the earliest round you will select him? Will you take a flier on him ONLY if you have Brees, Brady or Manning?

As for me, I will avoid him like the plague.
