My two cents, if I were drafting today.

(assuming no trade downs and not considering the combine)

my first and second choices for each round and pick if still on the board and

they don't break a leg when they find out we want to draft them !!!

the patroits just released joey galloway , doesn't that seem better than some of the options we have right now ??? even for only the rest of the season ...we could surely use the help
from what I seen of the packer game , with all of our injuries and lack of quailty targets , we could use any threat we can get our hands on and he could learn some plays during the bye week and proide some quality depth and experience as well

that is what makes the difference , and if the players buy into what you say , I think the greatest sign of improvement is we are not married to some failure of a system that doesn’t work and can be fiqured out by the opposing team about half way through the second quarter……we have a plan , and if that doesn’t work , well by god they seem to have several backup plans and I think our new personal reflect that ….thank god for coaches that finally have some brains for a change and are not pussies ….they are not afraid to get rid of idiots and dead weight and when they do , we seem to have good upper management that is not replacing them with more idiots ,,…..GREAT JOB IN THE OFF SEASON REBUILDING A FAILED TEAM ….I played at the college level and I will tell you this , these guy seem to be in great shape and if they are , we will do something we haven't done since barry sanders days ...WIN GAMES IN THE FOURTH QUARTER...how many times have we lost because the gas tank is empty ??? we don't have an entire team of shaun rogers anymore .... we havereal coaches , real in shape players and upper management that may not have made every right move , but has yet to pull a major fed up deal .....I take that and see what happens

I think we will go 8-8 and stafford will start in the thanksgiving day game on national TV

does it just occur to me or does everyone else think too that the detroit sports teams get screwed on ESPN

examples :  they cover matthew stafford but never mention that he is a lion or how he could help our team or even fit in with other players ....or any other layers for that matter ......ALL WE GET AFTER THAT IS .... 0-16 ...0-16 ....0-16 ... THANKS ASSHOLES...swartzs is kicking ass and taking names on the roster , he has basically cleaned house and kept what few good pieces we had ...and got some pretty damn good deals in the process , and I must say I am impressed with our front office , it's nice to have a plan for a change  .... if I hear one more brett farve story I'm going to vomit...... 

the tigers are in first place and you never see all the breakdowns , stats , crybaby drama and histroy lessons they give the yankees , red socks  , dogers , and mets .....MAGGY CUT HIS HAIR AND DONATED IT TO CHARITY FOR CHRIST SAKES , WHAT YANKEE WOULD DO THAT ??? we just decimated the brewers and the cubs , WHERE IS THE PROPS ?????

during the NBA draft , when the pistons were on the clock , they cut to commercials and stayed there right up until we anncounced our pick ...every other team up to that point had a great breakdown of needs , wants , projected picks and some last season history .... WTF???

and all during the NHL finals , NBC was very pro-penguins , with star outputs , sidebar stories and production numbers ... all they said about the wings were , where are these missing stars during the cup push ???

tell me if it's just me .... and that is just resent stuff , I could spend all day quoting more ........

I see that the cleveland browns signed  george foster today , that will add another ex-lion crybaby to there roster that doesn't know what offseason workouts are and also doesn't know how to get any better because they think they already know it all..............I don't think he will start there either , good bye and false start somewhere else......we have other guys that can contribute and not just take up a roster spot.  

 We have expeirenced more negative than any other team since 2000 , and if it wasn't for joey harrington , this would be a great pick . because of the bad taste in our mouth from this and matt millens many multitude of mishaps that start with M , we are all now just negative children , pouting in the corner .....I said this when we lost all of last year and I will say it again ...I SUPPORT MY TEAM , THEY NEED ME NOW WORSE THAN EVER ....I am not a fair weather fans , I am die hard to the end ( I like the cubs too ).............the kid is 21 and I hope he buys a fleet of F-150's with all his money ...give him a chance , with the right COACH , and proper training he will be a great one , and I think we have the right coaching staff to do it ....for the first time since booby ross and the second time since 1970. please stop the negative and unite.......GO LIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
