To Pau Gasol, or not to Pau Gasol?

I know the Spurs season isn't over, but Pau's is, and he's starting to look toward which team he'll sign with. I always love free agency/trade speculations, so if this is post is premature for you,...

My Inconsistent Love Affair with the Spurs

I loved writing when I was younger, and have wanted to write a Fan Post for a while. However, I am not great at in depth analysis or a stat-head. Sure, I like to look up some stats, but don’t...

Possible S.A. game night meet up anyone?

I've been kicking the idea around in my head about a PtR meetup in the S.A. area for a little while now, and J.R. Wilco gave the green light on the idea. Since we're Pounders and actually watch...

Awesome Q&A with Matt Bonner!

There's only 6 questions, but they're all pretty great!

New Orleans doesn't know how to not have a creepy mascot, huh?

If you haven't seen King Cake Baby, he will haunt your dreems.

I don't watch a lot of ESPN, but I think I know what the A. in Stephen A. Smith stands for...

I know, I know... more trades for you consideration.

So I have two trades that I was messing with, let me know what ya'll think. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine The Lakers-Suns trade has been in the works, maybe we could help facilitate. Picks/euro stash added as necessary. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine Chicago gets $23million in expiring contracts and a serviceable center going forward. The Lakers get to spread out talent for Gasol who will most likely leave in the summer. Boozer will be a decent trade chip next year, and Gibson is on a reasonable contract. Picks/euro stash added as necessary (probably to LA).

Matt Bonner new shoe deal?

Looks like Matty may have a new sponser. Or his last New Balances bit the dust....

Spurs are unusually active this trade season

Looks like we may be trying to revamp our roster after all. About 3 bullet points down on the page has this blurb: We've been predicting the Spurs' last hurrah for years, but this time it might really be the end of the road. The Spurs have been unusually aggressive trying to upgrade their roster in the trade market, a signal to rival execs that Gregg Popovich and R.C. Buford realize this might be the final shot at a title with the triumvirate of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. Duncan, 37, has a $10.4 million player option for next season, and Parker's future also has to be addressed; only $3.5 million of his $12.5 million for next season is guaranteed.

Dwight Howard & Co. get punk'd!

I know its not Spurs related, but there's is something satisfying about seeing D. Howard screaming like a little girl.

Mike Budenholzer abusing refs!

Dear ol' Mike beating up the poor refs.

NonSpurs, but NBA story. What Do ya'll think?

Being Spurs fans I think we are all in agreement that we like pure team oriented basketball. Does it make sense to diss the guy who tries to stop a dunk? Sure he may be embarrassed, but isn't it his job to try and stop a score?

A somewhat realistic way to trade Blair and get quality back

7

Alright, with Rondo out for the season I came up with a bigger picture trade. It works in Trade Machine, and could benefit all teams involved. Celtics get Barea to replace Rondo, and Danny Green who they wanted this past summer. Jackson is there to make the money work, but they get extra cap space this summer. Timberwolves get Blair, they don't need Barea and Blair could help them out while K. Love is out. Spurs get Paul Pierce.
