http://www.sbnation.comhttp://www.sbnation.com/users/stash3630 Posts made by stash3630 on SB Nation http://www.vivaelbirdos.com/2006/10/24/0222/0987 stash3630 Tue, 24 Oct 2006 04:02:22 -0000 <p>It's official. &nbsp;I am going to game 4. &nbsp;I just got off the phone call that confirmed it. &nbsp;My dad and I had tickets to game 5 in 2004, but the series ended while I was on an airplane about sixty minutes from Lambert. &nbsp;My dad and I made a pact that next day that we would come back the next time they went to the series, and amazingly enough we are keeping good on that pact. &nbsp;This will also be my first time in the new Busch. &nbsp;I hope its loud as hell. &nbsp;I will be in STL for all three games so I'll add comments when I get back. &nbsp;Keep the good mojo flowing in those game threads fellas. &nbsp;Go Cards!!!</p> http://www.vivaelbirdos.com/2006/4/13/13106/6079 stash3630 Thu, 13 Apr 2006 17:10:06 -0000 <p>There are a few things about the new Busch that I find interesting. &nbsp;The first is that it seems awfully quiet compared to the old stadium. &nbsp;Granted I am watching the games on TV, but it seems eerily silent for a Cardinal game. &nbsp;Is this a result of the new higher priced harder to get seats going to less ravenous white collar fans?</p><p>The other interesting piece of info is in regards to whether or not the new Busch is a hitter's park or a pitcher's park. &nbsp;The new MLB 2K6 baseball game came out for X-Box 360 Tuesday and it DOES have the new stadium in the game. &nbsp;In the game each stadium around the bigs is either listed as a hitter's park or a pitcher's park. &nbsp;Within those two classes each stadium also has a rating to show how much of a pitcher or hitter's park it is. &nbsp;According to the game, the new Busch is a hitter's park and unfortunately the third friendliest to hitters in the majors. &nbsp;It ranks only behind Ameriquest field in Arlington, &nbsp;Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, and Coors field in helping hitters out. &nbsp;For added perspective it is ranked equall with Citizens Bank Park in Philly and shoebox sized Minute Maid park in Houston. &nbsp;It's just a video game so you can't put too much stake in it, but I thought it was worthy of mentioning. &nbsp;Only time will tell...</p> <fieldset class="poll-box"> <legend>Poll</legend> <h5 class="poll-title">About the new Busch...</h5> <div id="poll_container_6128_323333945" class="poll_container"> <div class="poll_option clearfix"> <div class="poll_option_percentage" style="display:none">33%</div> <div class="poll_option_result"> <h5>Too quiet.
