Glover is not a back end pitcher. Why is Hamell on the team, if he's never used. Howell back to his okd tricks. Madden out thinks himself again, He uses Wheeler for two batters? Look for a long losing streak.

This was a series they should have swept, instead they lose. Sorry to say, i see the dam about to break open. Too bad.

If Juan Salas is healthy, get him back here, and do something with Hamel, and then Glover. Dohlman didn't deserve his fate

While i'm not one of these people who gloat at others misfortunes, although tough when it's the Red Sox, this certainly won't hurt the Rays

Sources told the Boston Globe that Curt Schilling will be out at least through the All-Star break even if he declines to undergo shoulder surgery.

The Globe reports that Schilling will follow the Red Sox's wishes and opt for rehab over surgery for a partially torn rotator cuff. Schilling has so far refused to comment, though there are whispers that he's contemplating retirement. One sources told the the Sox raised the possibility that Schilling would forfeit his contract if he proceeded to have surgery without their permission, and there were indications that the dispute has led to strained feelings between the parties.

How is Wade Townsend coming along? Is he still considered a prospect? He along with Niemann seem to always be hurt. It would be nice if they could spend an injury free year to see what they can contribute.

With Aybar's problem, i'm all for giving Joel Guzman some significant at bats this season. Today rotoworld still had him as the Rays tenth best prospect, capable of 30 to 40 HR years at the major league level. It seems like he is seldom mentioned as an option anywhere..

I really hope the Rays are kidding with DeFelice as a back up catcher. I would have loved to see them add Johnny Estrada or Rod Barajas, in case Navarro can't cut it.

Finally, my "keys" to the season are Rocco Baldelli (needs to get 500 ABS), Edwin Jackson (needs to pitch as he did in the second half, and Jhonny Gomes (return to his 2005 season)
