OU weekend recommendations

Many people traveling in for the OU game have not been to Tallahassee in quite some time. So here are some quick tips. I started FSU in 2001 and I can tell you Tallahassee is quite different now. For starters Gains Street is now 2 lanes; I'm not sure how this is going to mess with game day traffic. This is the first season with that going down to two.
Here is a quick list of some of my favorite bars in Tallahassee that I would recommend for Friday night. On Saturday I would suggest tailgating all day. I will be set up at 7am and do not plan to leave until the game is over. I hope others plan to do the same. These are some of my favorite places to drink around town. I tried to list places that I would recommend or have recently changed. Maybe we can expand this list and update this as I learn more.

Great article on FSU's booster financial situation; many of the points have been brought up on TN before; become fully endowed, the greater UF alumni numbers. Also a great point about how far South Florida really is from Tallahassee.
"You leave Tallahassee and drive eight hours south and you're in Miami," Lundeen said. "You leave Tallahassee and drive eight hours north and you're in northern Tennessee. "It's so far that it makes it almost impossible to get up for just a day."
I also love how they sort of call out South Fla for being front runners. Living down there I can tell you in the 90's it was all FSU flags; then the early 2000's all Miami, and now it's all UF. I swear everyone in South Fla has three different licence plates in the garage.
