Baseball is the great escape.
In my formative baseball years, I was too young to realize that Steve Jeltz stunk. . . even though my Dad often hinted that I may want to select a different favorite player. I was sure his breakout was right around the corner. I managed to get his autograph at Fenway Park while on a father / son baseball trip when Jeltz was playing for the Royals. He was the starting SS on the back end of a double dip. He also peppered the Monster during batting practice.

Favorite Chilled Adult Beverage:
Allagash White; Belgian witbier, brewed in Portland Maine. It's light & refreshing. Or post-softball games any beer that ends in Lite & is buried in an icy purgatory.
