In my opinion, Jason Arnott is one of the smartest Preds, and he will quickly become a fan favorite once this story is published in tomorrow's Tennessean. 

Arnott, of course, won’t be playing a direct role in any trades, but as captain he delivered the team’s sentiment to coaches and management.

"I’ve kind of told them for the most part — I think they all know how we feel in the dressing room, that we need more help on the offense,’’ Arnott said. "I’m sure they’re looking for someone.

Thank you Arnie! If the Preds really do make a splash with trades, I think we partly have him to thank. Hopefully we can get Jason Spezza.
