2011-12 free agents list

sure it's early. and there are more pressing issues, like who are we going to face in the playoffs, and how are we going to fare against all four different opponents? nonetheless i would like to divert some attention toward some potential additions that become available this off-season. most are pipe-dreams, but it's not unreasonable to consider who we can sign with vet's minimum's and perhaps any exceptions we have. standouts to me include: jamal crawford ray allen glen davis boris diaw kurt thomas tyson chandler caron butler kenyon martin theo ratliff earl clark jason richardson grant hill samuel dalembert and of course tim duncan now, obviously, most of these guys are gonna go for the biggest pay day, and by and large that will come from the teams they currently play for. but a good showing by our knicks could prove to be the impetus for a change of scenery. especially if some of these teams become (or already are) frustrating to the players. its a lot to think about, and its nothing new. but always worth keeping in mind.

fraschilla on mozgov (espn insider needed)

can't post the whole article obviously, but here is the section on our boy, mozart... Timo Mozgov, Russia (New York Knicks) 21 mpg, 13 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 64% FG, 78% FT The 7-foot-1 Russian's four quick baskets against Team USA in the quarterfinals showed why Donnie Walsh and the Knicks signed him to a three-year, $9 million contract. Mozgov, who was not drafted two years ago, is a late developer with excellent strength and above-average athletic ability. He runs the court well, will bang inside and can be a defender around the rim. On the other hand, his offensive low-post package of skills is nonexistent and he has average hands, at best. He is a forceful roller in the screen-and-roll game, though, and he provides a large target when he gets to the rim. Mozgov would have been a top-15 pick in what I thought was a weak draft. Guys like Ekpe Udoh, Cole Aldrich, Larry Sanders and Greg Monroe, who were all first-round selections, would have been hard-pressed to play the way Mozgov did in Turkey.

6 teen gays

this baketball announcer is trying not to talk about illegal butt sex, however, he is clearly struggling with the machinations of life. restriction and politics! abstinence and true love! the hope of a brighter future pitted against the dread of a tumultuous present. is he so wrong?

landry fields best fit of all 2010 draftees

you'll need espn insider to read it (which i have stolen) but david thorpe recently did a ranking of the top 20 rookies throughout summer league play. our very own landwolf not only made the cut, but was number 6, and with a ringing endorsement! 6. Landry Fields, Knicks Summer-league stats: 15.6 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.6 spg Like Harangody, Fields does not yet look the part of an NBA player, but his game is spot-on for the Knicks' style. He runs, shoots and finishes, and he has a great feel for the game overall. When considering talent plus fit, I think this may be the best overall draft selection of all 60 picks. will landwolf get minutes? will lots of small forwards get traded to get landry big time minutes? will new york media pollute the landmass?? tune in next season.
