A few of us have said it already. Patrick Cobbs is worthy of a Pro Bowl selection on Special Teams. Let's make it a movement, and get him in there. We can make it happen.

Send this to your football (and even your non-football) friends.

http://www.nfl.com/probowl/ballot?icampaign=TR_ProBowlBallot

Special Teams is the last section, and you don't have to vote for other stuff, if you don't want to.

Mention this on your radio shows and podcasts. Put this message on your sites and message boards that you visit. Put it on your MySpace page. Put it in your signature. Put it on Facebook. Put it on your blog. Call in to radio shows and mention the cause. Do what you can.

VOTE OFTEN.

Note: I didn't write this, Bitchin' Dave did, but i thought it was worthy of postin @ another site - http://www.bitchindave.com/dolphins/

For those who missed it, The NFL Today Show this past week had a segment where Dan Marino was at the Dolphins training facility, doing a story about the Dolphins' recent success and their Wildcat offense. Enjoy!

Breaking It Down: The "Wild Cat" Formation

Credit: Breaking It Down: The "Wild Cat" Formation - the PhinPhinatic

Was researching the WildCat formation, and came across this great breakdown of it, so here it is for all those interested.

It is the brainchild of Miami Dolphins quarterback coach David Lee. A formation that he designed while coaching at the University of Arkansas last season. It’s called the "Wild Cat" formation and it gave the New England Patriots DC fits…and honestly, as a former defensive co-ordinator myself, it’s giving me fits as well.

On the dark quiet flight from Arizona to Miami following last weeks loss to the Cardinals, Phins head coach Tony Sparano summoned the QB coach to the front of the plane. He simply said "we have to do something". The two began working on a strategy that had been first implemented during training camp but later shelved after RB Ronnie Brown hurt his thumb.

The Dolphins HC spent about 100 hours at the training facility and about 12 hours total sleeping…likely in his office. On Wednesday, the Dolphins had one of their most productive practices of the year and one of it’s more grueling. At one point Phins RB Ricky Williams said that he was about ready to "Phone it in" or something close to that. Still, hearing that it wore out Ricky was a telling sign of the physicality of it all.

[Editor's Note by Matty I] I've deleted like half of the article. Click the link and head to the site to see the entire post. I like the guys who run that site too much to have a full article taken from them and posted here. But thanks to "stiza" for at least linking to the original article.
